The Kingkiller Chronicles. Wow, third book is coming out apparently mid 2015. Read the first two. Could not put them down. Extremely well written and compelling. Interesting way of delivering the narrative.

I bought "The Slow Regard of Quiet things" to fill the gap. I think the other two books took me about a week to read each, and A few months later, I still haven't gotten through this 100 page booklet.

Dense, best read in short bits. Good travel book though (since when I travel I like to eat and read at a bar in a restaurant - so it's literally perfect for that).

At times very funny. The first section is all these aphorisms I never knew the source of (e.g., "Tell me what you eat, and I'll tell you what you are" i.e., You are what you eat, or "A dinner without cheese is like a beautiful woman with only one eye.")
