There's a couple small things going out here aside from the blossoming assless chaps industry.

I basically work for a company that does market research as it pertains to technology adoption. I work for the consulting wing of this company, basically a project manager and business development type guy. I started as a data ner and kind of ended up mid-management type.

ya i gotcha new work environments or jobs that our out of your norm are kind of weird at times depending on what you do.

Yes indeed i contribute back to society through infrastructure that i have help design/build.
My financial background is an important part of it also as a project manager comes in handy.Thus why i was duking it out with pikey regarding our financial system. I did work for the big 5 in canada. It was great but my money is better with what i do now. Who knows maybe in a few years I'll branch off and have my own gig.
