See, I agree with most of your post. But one thing remains, they are still in 5th place, and very much in the playoff race...

The penguins biggest mistake is keeping Jordan Stall at the Deadline...they could have gone out and got a quality defenseman..
I mean karbele was available, boumeester for stall would have layed a great foundation for a trade.

I like the the addition of kunitz though...solid playoff preformer

Biggest Problem for the Penguins...Leadership I would have perfered them get a legitimate head coach

1) Quinn
2) Tortorella (when he was available)
3) Bob Hartley

Bob Hartley is far from a legitimate coach. His biggest skill was putting Forsberg and Sakic on the same line when the Avs were losing...pure genius.

Yeah, we have been hot and cold on the PP all year. Schneider seems to have got caught up in the pass first PP style. But last night also showed how much we miss Kovalev on the PP.
