the biggest joke of all was that the USA were this dominate team, and Canada made a brief appearence in the newpaper saying they lost to Jamacia or something.lol. I can buy the US being good, but Jamacia and ICeland?

2. My first game was Devils/Sens in 96. the Devils lost the game and with that loss, were eliminated from playoff contention.

3. The first jersey i owned was a Patrick Roy Colorado jersey.

4. I am now a die-hard Hurricanes fan.

5. I attended all the playoff games, including the finals, during the Canes' cup runs in '02 and '06.

6. I've met and tailgated with Cam Ward's father.

7. Stephane Richer almost ran my cousin over with his car.

8. I booked Kevyn Adams' sisters wedding.

9. I tailgate before every Canes game, rain or shine.

10. Pregame Jagerbombs are a must.

I am not willing to make any playoff predictions right now...all I will say is this..if Kipper is on his game, the second line comes back strong and we can survive the terrible PP there isn't much that can stop us. likewise i don't see any reason why the devils can't win the east

best 13th round fantasy pick ever

And to think, leading up to the season i kept thinking "hmm, i don't know if my LW is strong enough, other than Doan Parise is my best LW"

1) I learned to play hockey in my kitchen using a washer and a counter as nets (its a small house)
2) My brothers and I never lived near a rink or anything like that so we used our backyard, today its a sinking mud pit
3) I have never Ice Skated before in my life but im this summer
4)The only hockey I was only able to afford to play was dek hockey with my brothers and every cent spent (even equipment) came straight out of our pockets parents never helped
5) Im known at the dek rink for at least getting one penalty per game and got called once for tripping but the ref called it an "ass crack" penalty for obvious reasons.
6) One of my most prized possessions is a picture of me and my brothers (an old picture) with Mario Lemieux at penguin practice
7) My little brother was held on top Sean Donovian's shoulder's (still in uniform) for a picture
8) I have stacks of autographs from meeting players in person ( Mario especially)
9) Got to meet Fleury, Jagr, Recchi, Alexei Morozov, Craig Patrick, and Herb Brooks (RIP)
10) Jagr took my sharpie signing autographs from his car

20) My brothers and I created our little hockey game that to this day we still play with other people in the neighborhood (on the street of course). We call it the Goalie Game (its cheesy but we love it). First off we play free for all (every man for himself empty net its first to 3) to decide who is goalie last. Then the person who has the least amount of goals goes first. It consists of 3 rounds. the 1st and 3rd rounds are breakaways. your not allowed to take your time or your turn ends. the 2nd round the goalie must freeze the ball to end the round for that player . And you are not allowed to slap shot it.

It's so exciting, because for the first time ever we have an ELITE forward. Very rare for the Devils. Better then Gionta and Elias in their prime, that's for sure.
