I was a little skeptical when I first started reading and then as you read others you almost felt inclined to write your own. Definitely enjoying reading others for sure.

It's been a good day (except for canadacup focusing on gretzky's penis), good stories and no "____sucks" "Well [frank] you!" stuff.

1. My first season ticket experience was in 1995 with the Wheeling Thunderbirds/Nailers of the ECHL
2. The first phone call I made after the lockout was to get Capitals season tickets
3. My first NHL game was the Habs - Hurricanes in Montreal in 2001.
4. I have been to Montreal every year since 2001 to watch the Habs play at home.
5. The best game I have ever seen live was Habs - Caps in 2007. Caps won 5-4, Ovie scored 4 goals after getting his teeth knocked out and his nose broke.
6. I have only missed 1 Caps home game since Ovie's rookie year and it was because my girlfriend broke her leg.
7. I played Ted Leonsis in a game of bubble hockey in the Caps front office in 2006. I let him win, trying to get a discount on tickets...didn't work.
8. I am going to the Frozen Four this year.
9. I skated on the rink in Lake Placid. Almost brought me to tears.
10. It warmed my heart to see the ovation given to Kolzig upon his return to Washington this year, even after giving up 3 goals before the first commercial break.
11. It sickened me to see people throw stuff on the ice after game 7 of the Caps - PHI series last year.
12. I did laugh a little watching Jeff Carter get hit by a pizza box.
13. I asked Glen Hanlon how it felt to be remembered as the goalie who gave up Gretzky's first goal. He laughed. So did Jay Leach.
14. At a Capitals autograph event, I pulled my jersey away from Steve Eminger to let Brian Sutherby sign it. They were sitting next to each other.
15. I named my first dog after Patrick Roy. RIP buddy.
16. I swear to this day that there was a glitch in an NHL game where Toe Blake was an extra attacker for the Habs but I have no proof. I believe it was NHL 97.
17. The habs have never lost a home game while I have been in attendance. Even this year when I saw them play the Sharks.
18. I always go to Mr. Steer for breakfast on my final day in Montreal.
19. I took my girlfriend there last year, she is a vegetarian, she could only have fruit.
20. I have only played hockey twice in my life, both after the age of 32. Not pretty, but fun.

I just thought of a good one I think people could get a kick out of.

Summer before Grade 11 my friend and I were in a power skating clinic together over a weekend. Well his parents went out of town so we had a big party Saturday night and got absolutely hammered. I hadn't been drinking in excess a whole lot up too that point, but anyways Sunday morning we were both ridiculously hung-over. The class started at 11am. Needless to say, powerskating for 2 hours when you are hungover is not an experience I would willingly repeat. Best part was my mom was there for some reason and when I came out of the lockerroom she said "You know, you looked really good out there!" I just burst out laughing.

1) I grew up in Edmonton and never saw the famed Oilers - my parents saw a lot of them.

2) My first hockey game was in 1988, post-Gretzky, Craig Simpson split the goal posts between my uncle's head and mine in the pre-game warmup. It's the only puck I own.

3) My first Canucks game was in 1989 shortly after moving to Vancouver. My whole grade 5 class wrote letters to the team explaining why our class should have the prize pack of tickets and anniversary t-shirts - my teach told me my letter put us over the top.

4) The Red Wings were my team of choice from 1991 onwards because of Fedorov and Yzerman. My table hockey Red Wings had numbers painted in whiteout on the back: 19, 91, 96, 55, 5 and 30.

5) I got my first ticket package for any hockey team this year for the Canucks. Cheapest seats with a plan to upgrade, but now that I sit with real fans, I'm keeping these seats instead of pushing for hobnobbers.

6) The only game I've seen in the US was at the United Center - Chicago vs. Minnesota in January 2008. My favourite quote heading out on the bus was a fan saying "One day, this building will have more Chicago fans than fans of the other team." Didn't take long.

7) I got myself the best seats I could find (lower bowl, 10-12 rows up) for each of Lemieux and Yzerman's last games in Vancouver. The only time I saw either of them play in person and sat in awe every time they were on the ice.

8) I used to eat at Don Cherry's in Edmonton a lot. As a kid, I desperately wanted the one Don Cherry hockey card that existed - he said he'd sign it, but wasn't too forthcoming about it. I didn't know he'd only played one game.

9) I rebelled against my friends and family at the age of ten and got a Flames jersey - didn't even know you could buy them in Edmonton. I celebrated the Cup win by wearing that jersey every day for a week.

10) My mom's doctor in Cranbrook was Dr. Niedermeyer. She once said to me in 2005 "Do you know about his sons? They play hockey."

11) I am still in awe driving around Kitsilano when I see Trevor Linden walking about.

12) My favourite hockey games are when I go with a fan I've never met before, but only know through Twitter.

13) It kills me every time I can't attend a game that I have a ticket for.

14) I only played one ice hockey game in my life and I'm pretty sure it nearly killed me. Athleticism is not my forté but I sincerely respect the work anyone's done to get to any level.

15) I'm a Pierre McGuire fan.

16) I play SecondLife and wear my Vancouver Canucks and Vancouver Giants jerseys to corporate events.

17) My favourite artwork is a Steve Yzerman colour sketch done by a street person in Toronto that I bought for $5 as a starving student.

18) I never believed anyone when they told me Randy Gregg was actually a doctor.

19) I'm happy in my job, but have all accounting and finance jobs from NHL.com sent to me to figure out which I should apply to in order to get on the GM track.

20) My favourite hockey to watch live is womens' CIS hockey and the WHL. It's not about skill, it's about something real and you can tell with every shift.

hahahahaha

Bonus 21. I can destroy anyone in NHL 94 with my goalie pulled the entire games, as long as I can be the Bruins.

22.hahaha I know, Went to the HHOF and I TOUCHED THE CUP about 100 times, my logic was, you never know what can happen in life, and that it may be my only chance, so I took full advantage.

I remember watching my midgets in a tourney after a night of them drinking. A lot of them looked green at breakfast. One kid, who was 16, ordered chocolate chip pancakes, and just stared at them for 20 minutes without having a single bite.

We ended up winning the whole thing the next night.

My team played in an out of town tournament and went out and got blasted the night before. My buddy was probably still hammered in the morning and went out for the warm up without a jersey on and nobody told him. I was quite surprised at how long it took him to realize. Very funny moment.

21. I remeber during the winter olympics forget the year the one were Salo let in the goal off his mask and in, the one which ended his career. Anyways the gym teachers instead of teaching gym this day they brought in tvs and let the kids in gym watch the olympic hockey game canada v. i forget what team. I was stuck in french class so every guy in the class asked to go to the bathroom to go watch a bit and then come back and another guy would go and watch a bit and keep everyone up to date, teacher was wondering what was up.

22. I had to bring myself up as a big hockey fan, my parents are not big fans they are fans now because of me. Well my dad used to follow chicago and bruins and the leafs due to gilmour so i had to bring him to the good side and was easier when dougie came here.

23. Best penalty moment is Gilmour breaking the glass and now known should be known as the dougie rule

That... but that wastes time if you are trying to score more than 100. The shot from the top of the face off circles works too. (Has to be the Genesis version)

Buffalo, Boston, Detroit, LA and Toronto are the easiest to score with.

The trick is getting 100 with San Jose or Ottawa.
