I think he saw Kovalchuk on the other team and thought: "Hmm, I wonder if I can do that?" Turns out...yes.

i liked the plekanec and koivu lines. not so much the lang line. land and kovalev are waaaaay too slow to play together.

IMO Dandeneault played a really strong game, he should definitely take brisebois spot
I'd like to see him on the PP just one game

Kovalev's not slow... he slows down the play when he's on the ice.

I think he has more upside than the fans and media let on sometimes, i agree with you. Next game I'd like to see one roster move:

Brisebois out, O'Byrne in.

Agreed. Dandeneault showed good speed, smart moves with or without the puck, and it was only his second game as a def this year.
Bring O'byrne, and let's see how things evolves until Komisarek is back

I'm annoyed...my wife set the pvr to record the game, but forgot to extend the recording past the Rogers-defined 2h30m...so here's me, watching the game, I see Montreal take a 4-3 lead, and then with 2m18s left in the 3rd...

...the game cut out. Glad to see they won, but I'm still pissed that she didn't remember to extend the recording.

Dandenault has had two solid games so far. He brings speed to the back end. Against the Sabres he had a few good rushes, something a guy like O'Byrne or Breezer can't do.

While I'm normally good natured overall, I'm still sour that I missed the last 2m18 of the game. So I'm going to go with no. You can not insult my wife. I'm likely to get ornary.

Score made it seem much closer than it was. we played a good game for 55 mins. I don't know how we start the game playing a 1-4 trap but when were leading 3-0 we don't? Anyways after sweating it out for no reason we came away with the 2 points and i guess thats all that matters.

Get ready for the next 2 games of 2-1 and 1-0 score lines. the habs 1-4 vs the rangers 2-3 followed by the habs 1-4 vs the devils 0-5. But if they get the results i'll be happy.

Power Play 1/3 ... were moving on up
