In all fairness, Kulich, Ostlund and Wahlberg all still look like sure fire NHL centermen. Where they'll rise to, at this point, is the only question. Personally, I think Kulich is ready, but he did wax and wane this year, so I get why they're trying to give him more time. Still very young.

Very true, but only temporarily. We basically need a 3C for a year.
- QuinnFan

It's why I think they really want a 4C, who fills out their needs better. If the Knights want to shed some $, not so sure it's not Nick Roy who interests them.

Fair enough. I can see Karlsson and Schmaltz there, but not sure Jenner has that much left in the tank. Cates just had a pretty rough year I know. If it's straight up, I think we have to shoot for the higher ones on that list is all.
- QuinnFan

I like Cates but I agree there's a production split between guys like Karlsson and Schmaltz and a guy like Cates.

I still want Cates but without 11OA. Probably Bennett too. I'll accept that edit.

that’s about all they do there

they have extremely poor management

no movies play there except maybe a big disney release once or twice a year

unfortunate, personally, I would go there all the time if they played even some new releases

it's a beautiful place, they really should be using it more.

He also wasn't a 3C the bulk of the season, so a big part is where you see him fitting in.

Trading away a player at their near peak of their value is something good teams do.

Overpaying for a player is what teams like the Sabres do.

That's one thing I can't hang on KA yet. Let's see what some pressure does to him. Donnie and Forton won over analytics a few times, who knows how it changes with Lindy potentially dominating the room.

Go get Chandler Stephenson and build 3 lines out from there. Bring in Yakov Trenin for some Needed grit and Hakanpaa to your Defense.

Watching him for the past couple years has really made me a believer. Skating has gotten better, his shot is high end for the NHL already and he's got GREAT puck retrieval skills. He needs to get stronger and play a little lower in the d-zone, which are both correctable issues.

I think Rosen took a bigger step this year as he was able to stay healthy, but Jiri has more inherent talent.

^^

Still think he's one of the best names that has been brought up all offseason. He's the perfect guy IMO. Lundell is very intriguing as well, but cost might be alarming.

Another option I heard, that I liked, but is probably not getting traded in division:

He would be a slight upgrade to what Marcus Johansson did in Buffalo, IMO.

Better. I've told Gary, I won't move back, so when you're rigging the results make sure to put us at 11 or lower.

Stephenson > MoJo but Lundell, who knows, maybe. That's why the cost would probably undo that particular opportunity. Florida would want a haul I'd imagine.

All for adding a UFA so we can keep assets. We will not be hating ourselves for holding onto promising prospects if we can round out the team through other avenues besides trade.

You could say that about the entire town

Fat (frank) mayor hired all his buddies after getting elected, gave them all raises, wants to have citizen patrol for people with conceal carry license and he has a gagging order on the press in town.

This town is overrun with beta male land owners who keeps the jobs out and the pay low for the thousands of service jobs they fight over.

The most gaslighted and groomed women I have ever met, they get slut shamed for leaving their high school boyfriends as if two guys is somehow the difference between Virgin Mary and Belladonna.

Ugliest, dumbest, most uninteresting men I have ever met in my life, too. You almost feel bad for their women, but they don’t want it to be better, Paul bought a house.

Lundell is a great target. Bit of a down year, going to cost some $ + they don't have $. Trade cost shouldn't be crazy. Fits the Sabres needs extremely well + has team control. He'd be high on my list.
