I saw Alexis Gendron play for Phantoms earlier in year. Really smooth skater although I couldn't determine speed. He was around the play and puck found him regularly. Really needs to add weight to his frame but I could see him pushing for NHL spot in 2-3 years. |

I wonder if Carter Sotheran turns pro during the summer. They do have a decent amount of defensive depth prospects in the organization. Should not preclude them from drafting another one early.
Eiserman falls, definitely worth the risk. I like Iginla, and I expect Hage to rise. He may even make it into the top 10. |

He hasn’t been impactful at all. They don’t have much depth though, you stop him and that’s about it. - ClaudeFather
yep, they should have signed Bertuzzi.

Don't love D!ckinson (suspect hockey sense), and hope the Flyers don't fall in love just because their scouts have a ridiculous amount of viewings of him while checking in on Bonky.
Parekh is what they need. Buium would make a nice consolation prize. - Tomahawk
But man watching him skate is a thing of beauty for the size he is.

I want iginla, looks like a good one there. Not sure he will fall though, but what would it cost the flyers to move up 3-4 spots? Does a 3rd rounder get it done?

At #12 Eiserman would be a worthy gamble.

He is actually from my part of Massachusetts and is a wonderful player. He would be a steal at #12 IMO, and I actually think the Flyers should trade up to get him if he falls past Montreal at 5. |

Bruins might want TK over pasta at the moment 😂 JD right again - ClaudeFather
Montgomery called out Pastrnak last night in his post game. This is what I have been saying, the guy is soft when the games means the most. Took a stupid 4 minute penalty in the 2nd period last night, 200 feet from his own net. Pasta is a great scorer, but when the games mean the most, he is often a no-show. TK shows up every single shift of every single game. TK is the type of player I want to go to war with. |

Who knows .. as you know a lot can happen with a prospect, first and foremost injuries. Injuries are what side tracked O'Brien. |

Nylander is showing me a lot in this series. He is pretty much the entire offense for the Leafs right now. It is an interesting dynamic that losing Matthews for these past few games has actually helped the Leafs, because they have changed their game to play more a playoff style game, tight checking, good forecheck, blocking shots, and getting pucks to the net with traffic. These are things that never change in playoff hockey and the Leafs were not playing this way when Matthews was in the lineup. Marner had a better game last night, but still not generating enough offense. |

Its fact, not opinion. In fact I think Rizzo plays very similar to O'Brien. |

Trading up for a winger isn’t smart. For a center definitely. |

Draft trades into the top 10 are pretty rare. Recent history suggests a team willing to trade an NHL player to acquire a top 10 pick (DeBrincat, Corey Schneider trades-my examples). I think the more likely outcome is a highly ranked prospect falls for whatever reason and falls to #12. Eiserman is a one trick pony, but his trick is the hardest thing to do in hockey- score goals. I expect Silayev to slide because of the contract with the KHL. Slide to #12, not sure.

Normally I agree with you but there are no pure centers projected after Celebrini. |

they determined he wasn't good enough to warrant an NHL contract. As did every other NHL team.
How did he make out this year? |

He is not the same player, clearly because of the injuries he sustained in his college career. Period. |

I would bet that if anyone else listened to the post game, they would not characterize it was Montgomery calling out Pasternak. Pasternak has played 83 playoff games and has scored 37 goals and 46 assists for 83 points. That's a point per game pace. I personally watched Flyers games down the stretch where Konecny was not a factor in the games.

Matthews is not only an elite goal scorer but he is also one of the best two way forwards in the NHL. His play away from the puck in coverage is very strong.

Its a fact he was drafted way too high, never saw him play against tough opposition. Ronnie outsmarted himself
