I can’t cheer for Vancouver - I find many of their fans insufferable and they do more trolling in here than probably any other Canadian team. Plus I love Nashville the city, went to a Leaf game there and the fans were awesome as is that atmosphere and rink. Go Preds

Go Jets - my best friend is a Jets fan and it’s kinda made me one. Plus we went to a game there (not Leafs) also and with what 5000 less fans I’d say that rink is as loud if not louder than the Bell Centre (which is insanely loud). Go Jets.

Go Oilers - I’m done with the LA / Will Ferrell thing. They got their cups and Drew Doighty has tortured the Leafs for too long (I’d have loved him as a Leaf). Go Jets

Go Rangers - Too many Islanders fans are classless losers. The way they treated JT and how they are in here is enough for me. GO Rangers

Yeah, these guys all need to be willing to take the game physically if they hope to move forward. Boston has it figured out.. they give the puck handlers zero time and the leafs are passing poorly and shooting in an almost panicked style.

Take the same beating and get the win… it’s what it takes to do well in the post season. If they don’t this series won’t take long cause after last game it’s showing Boston knows this about the leafs and their unwillingness from the core.

That and other than Matthews the core four has done very little when it comes to the grit of the game

Nylander: hasn’t played yet
Marner: sticks to the outside and tries to play fancy
JT: tries but his age shows
Matthews: focal point of the bruins defensive coverage due to the others

Unless Marner starts being willing to play gritty he isn’t worth keeping. As for Nylander I’m hoping he will, but we’ll see.

The majority of their guys making half the cap aren’t doing what’s needed in playoff hockey. Your body doesn’t matter boys, play tough or you’re no post season guy.

Marner is only going to be productive playing with a guy like Matthews unless he starts to realize his fancy puck handling isn’t worth poop in the post season.

The leafs can’t score more than 2 goals regularly and that’s the damn problem. They are not playing the game they were built to play.

Matthews has been very good 5v5. This series is all about special teams. It's the big $ guys who need to step up on the PP.

Dozzer, as for Marner, stop waiting for him to play a more physical game. It's simply not going happen. Leafs have significant decisions to make going forward.
