I am just saying I don't think a major penalty means Hossa wasn't good. Preds might have gotten ahead in the series 3-2 but Hawks were very much still in the series and had a solid chance to still take it to 7 games and win. In the end, the Hawks tied it and Hossa came out and scored the GWG after the penalty. He finished with 7 points in the series, tied with Kane and Sharp for 2nd most, Toews lead the way with 8.

I have no clue what will happen but we also know GMs do some crazy things. If, for arguments sake, Contending team X offer him $6M on a three year deal, it will take a crazy financial offer to lure him away from having a chance to win a cup to play for a rebuilding team.
