Yes, I don't begrudge TK trying to get the most he can get. He will become a free agent and he deserves to have the chance to get the most money he can. All I am saying is if I am the Flyers, I don't go above 7 years and $8M AAV. As much as I love TK and want him to stay on this team, the Flyers are in no position to pay any winger a contract like this. To me you save the big contracts for a top center or a top pairing defenseman.
- jd250

They are in no position if they are actually serious about rebuilding, to re-sign TK. Make no mistake he’s our best player. From the start it’s been about what “actions” DB does….not what he says.
I think DBs actual plan will come into focus over the next few months.

Wait a second, recently you labeled Konecny the face of the franchise. A player that is that player is not worthy of a big contract in your eyes? That's a contradiction.

BTW, I am the biggest Leafs fan right now. Great game winner by Matthews last night.

Post #1 of the day of you replying directly to me. When are you going to admit that you were full of crap when you posted that you don't read most of my posts?

You're a neanderthal with zero intelligence. Opportunity needs to be given consistently. Especially with a rebuilding team. Guys like you talk about how important the experience of big games is for young players and then accept when a young player is arbitrarily benched behind some outdated mantra such as ice time needs to be earned.

- MJL
And you're a politically correct new age snowflake that thinks everything should be given and not earned. Frost is a soft player and he will probably be traded this summer. Deal with it.

Post#2 today of you replying to me.

Admit that you not only read every post I make but that you hang on every word I post.

I honestly didn't even know the Suxas played last night until I saw this. The NHL playoff games were riveting and full of action, but I see in typical Philly fashion the Suxas are trying to blame the loss on the refs. Bunch of losers!!! Go Flyers!!

The Flyers needed a goal against Washington and Frost sat on the bench the entire third period. It should be clear to everyone by now that when Torts talked about balls to play in the type of games late in the season, he was talking about Frost and Farabee. I think Briere likes Frost and I wonder if this is going to blow up between Briere and Torts in the off-season. Clearly if it were up to Torts Farabee and Frost would be traded.
- jd250

Farabee had 9 shifts in the 3rd period of that game. The coach was an idiot for sitting Frost and Brink from early in the 2nd period of that game.

Yes blaming the refs and claiming they are the better team all while losing. After the Knicks pummeled them in the regular season and they’re down 2-0. Haven’t hated a Philly team like this in quite some time!

Brink outplayed Frost down the stretch, but then again, just about everybody did. Just as I predicted when the games became more physical he shied away. This most likely will never change...cut bait now!!

Okay, I'm gonna go out now and watch the grass grow which will be more exciting than having a conversation with you. You really need to get a new act cause with you it's just the SOS day after day. You are so wacked out about Torts it's not even funny. It's painfully obvious that he lives in your head rent free, and yes, your comments intertwined Frosty with Hughes and Nico which was one of your dumbest comments ever and that's saying something.

#4 on the day

That's all just rhetoric and hyperbole. Not content whatsoever. You don't have the intelligence to realize that the comparison was how coaches handle young players between Tortorella and Ruff. Not comparing the players.

You re not able to realize that is has been earned and he and Brink both deserved the opportunity in that game. I hope Frost is traded so he can get away from Tortorella and his bias. Frost is not a soft player.

What is this, reply #6 on the day?

Frost did not put up a lot of points in the last 10 games or so but he definitely did not shy away. That is not accurate.

It's comparison by association. You really think Torts would have scratched Jack Hughes and Nico? They are much better players than Frost and would NOT have been benched by Torts, so using that as an example of Ruff being a better coach is simply misguided.

There was no comparison made between players. Yes, Tortorella has benched Konecny and Sanheim. You are ignoring the facts.

Do you have the self awareness to realize that after claiming to not reading most of my posts, you have been replying directly to every post I make?

Were Sanheim and Konecny first and second overall picks. Don't let it go to your head. I will be leaving in a few minutes and gone most of the day, and I will not back read your hundreds of comments on here between now and then ergo I don't read or respond to the majority of your comments. Must I have to explain everything to you?

It doesn't matter where they were picked. You've missed the point badly. As usual. Tortorella will scratch anyone at any time. It's one of the only tools he has as a coach.

You hyperbole can't cover the fact that you're a proven fraud.

He was a UFA, they had zero leverage after they played him for 3 games at the end of the season. There was no way they were going to let him and his 6'7" frame go.

How bad would that have looked?
