The only guy who can even be traded is Willy for a couple months, and the optics of slipping in a trade on a guy who just signed a max term deal make that a likely impossibility.

We're not talking your standard submit a list 10 team NTC. Full trade protections across the board, literally don't go anywhere unless they rubber stamp a trade.

Willie's current deal got a NMC added to it when he signed in January. They're all in full control of their destinations.

I don't think that's a thing, contracts can't be modified on the fly. His new deal kicks in July 1st and has a full NMC for the entire term at that point.

Matthews and marner had a great 1st round, willie was ok, he was non existent the final two games against tampa and the first two against Florida. Marner had multi point games in the first 5 games of the series. Your hate is clouding your memory. Morgan was a beast.

The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta reiterated that Nylander has a full NMC in his eight year deal, but one of the best features for Nylander and his camp is that the NMC will actually take effect immediately, meaning that the Leafs will not have the opportunity to move Nylander before his new deal kicks in.
