Be curious to find out what it is.
The Isles are dressing Dobson and he's CLEARLY not right, sounds like they're letting Pageau draw in while hurt too.
Most guys have at least something going on by now, but you play through it if it's not going to cause permanent damage. - BINGO!
Yeah exactly. I remember Hedman missing game 1 last year and then the rest of the series he was off…so I do get it to an extent but he played all 82 and the last 2 back to back?
Like what could have possibly gone wrong for him to not play? Like every game multiple players get crushed with huge hits and cross checks and slashes…half the team has something tweaked by game 3.
I’ve decided I’m angry about it, he should be playing. |

I spent about 6 hours on Saturday working on the backyard.
Nearly killed myself.
And then it was too cold to sit out an enjoy a beer.

Got a deal on the sear lip, had beef tenderloin, asparagus with lemon, and flat fries, all cooked on that lip. Also melted part of my boot on it when I was drunk later and put my feet up |

Just voicing my opinion, especially after last game I’m really hoping woll comes in. - Santo_44

Father in laws full time home, there was a party Friday pm with the couple who came to help wit the dock installation. The 4am bedtime and 8am wake up didn't make Saturday's chores in the wind any more enjoyable that's for sure. - Cush29

I'm shocked (ok not shocked more like shaking my head) that anyone actually thinks William Nylander is faking an injury or milking it to be worse than it is to keep himself out of the lineup in a playoff game.
The guy has barely missed any time in his entire Leaf career due to injury and this is the reaction? Question his desire and integrity?
Good lord no wonder players leave here or never want to play here.

I don't think anybody is claiming he isn't legitimately hurt, just making fun of how Leafy it is that he played all 82 games and isn't good for the playoffs with easy to point to incident where he got hurt. |

So Weller's Bay is off Lake Ontario but there is a huge spit that runs between the bay and the Lake and the water in the bay is full of sand bars along the shoreline.
The water off the dock gets up to 80 degrees sometimes higher which is sweet but of course the trade off is shallow water for quite a ways out (like almost a football field) which makes boating interesting at times. lol
Water is nice, lots of fish in the bay too - Carp, Bass, Perch and loads of pike out in the deeper water.

I was trying to be less argumentative. lol
I agree with your post though - bad penalties and to any whining about "Sammy let in the first shot of the game" it was a 2 on 1 that the D man played about as poorly as any D man can play a 2 on 1. Bad pinch x 2 and then the D man not taking away the pass nor the shot......Sammy had no shot on that. - Cush29
I agree - would have been a nice stop for Sammy but Lilly has to play the pass ...the puck carrier is Boqvist!
But he's got to have the second one - the Carlo goal. |

Yeah this is basically it.
Just based off what I the fan have seen why the (frank) isn’t he playing?
I mean I got one of my worse concussions standing up and hitting my head off a low ceiling so it’s possible it’s something like that.
Just frustrating and sitting at home with the information we have he should be in. And you know what Keefe isn’t giving any injury updates so it’s fair for fans to be frustrated. |

I see no reason to believe hes faking anything, no history of that from anything ive seen.
I just wish they would mention, is it upper or lower body? |

Maybe it’s a concussion.
Kinda feel like it makes sense given they aren’t even giving a timeline. |

Damn, this looks cool.
I have a cheap fire bowl in the backyard, but it never gets used - partly because of the smoke.
This seems like an elegant solution.
Does it really eliminate all the smoke? |

Ok the fact he got hurt in game 82 is for sure "leafy" but some folks seem angry or very tin foil hat about the whole thing.
One poster who shall remain nameless but is not in the Willy Fan Club even started down the path of it being Willy being mad about being on the 3rd line.
If he's hurt and he can't play at a level that is better than what a healthy guy can bring then I don't want him to play, I'd rather he rest, hopefully heal up for later games / rounds.
Yes I said rounds!
Air Corji has the Leafs winning - if you watch the video the bounce off the rim was game 1.

I am so glad I chose blue koolaid over coffee today.

I think it's his back ...low back, even a small tweak/pull, can (frank) you up too much to play. They could plug him into a morphine drip on the bench but it's the Leafs so the refs would find a way to penalize them for that. |

Yeah back could make sense too.
I just hope he is back by game 3 at the latest.
Tie it up 1-1 and bring Willy back.
Just as a fan I’m frustrated, I think the leafs are overplaying and overcomplucating the market with keeping it quiet.
Or they are just scared of Jim Montgomery. |

As a goalie I 'remind' my entire team before we play "Take away the pass on a 2 on 1" - and they all say "ya Cush, got it" and then puck drops and it's like I was talking to myself. lol
As far as goal 2 I wouldn't say it was a soft goal but for sure it hurt. Some goal support would have helped too as Sammy made some big stops and gave up one in the first 26 minutes before goal 2.
Oh well on to game 2 tonight!

Yes it’s hard to blame the d or the goalie when you can’t score more than one goal. |
