If William Nylander and his $11.5m contract is not injured.

He should never see a Leafs jersey again.

(If it's an addiction or some other issue, he can still fuk off, could've done whatever it is before game 82 and when your personal stats were not of importance.)

Matthews has been good and could have 2 goals. The second line has been poor.
- Hockey_Reverend

They could probably use Willy there. Darn, why did we bench him...

He's been twice as dangerous as Marner and Tavares combined.
- joel878

Not really saying much.
Not much truth as well.
Maybe 25% more dangerous

Imagine if 34 didn't hit that post...

Imagine if the Leafs management didn't utterly waste the first eight years of the best player the franchise ever had?

It does if you are expecting other big salaries to show up and not hanging everything around Matthews neck.

You mean the guy who has been invisible the last 10 games? Maybe. But I guess he is hurt? Who knows. Seemed fine last game. Maybe his dad told him to sit out and save his energy for the second round…. Of golf!!!! lol

I think it's more to illuminate the fact that they have over 20 million of dead weight. And the 69 goal scorer who has been one of the more noticeable forwards tonight (not saying much I know) probably isn't the issue.

I'll be straight up by saying I stopped watching when it turned 3-0
But Boston's stars weren't exactly thriving either. I didn't noticed Marchand at all and only saw Pasta throwing his weight a couple times. Didn't look particularly dangerous.

I don't know how its gone since, but still..

Just go to Sportsnet 590 livestream and listen to Joe Bowen and Ralphie call the rest of the game. You're not missing anything visually.

You may not be wrong. Something is off.

When has a team ever not said at the very least "upper body" or "lower body" or "illness" or "personal issue".....not one of those has been uttered.

Tre said they're not discussing injuries at all in the playoffs. A lot of teams do it.
