Shame on you for making me listen to Pierre Maguire.

(Nobody forced you to do that. You secretly wanted to listen to that.)

This one is good too.

That is still one of my favourite gif's.
But, I feel it's only fair to point out that he remade himself as a player since then and without doing so, Washington never would have won a Cup.
Still not scared about anything in this series other than Wilson or one or two others running around trying to cause injuries.

Rangers played well enough down the stretch and won the Presidents Trophy. In addition to having home ice advantage for the entire playoffs, we got to play the weakest playoff team by far. There are no byes in hockey , unlike the NFL but this is the best possible scenario for the Rangers to advance EASILY.

In a game that Washington absolutely HAD TO WIN, they generated all of 18 shots on goal against a pedestrian Flyers team! Heck, they advanced on an empty net goal!

In any playoff series, of course both teams have "theoretical" chances to win. Just like I have a "theoretical" chance to have a night with Salma Hayek with one of you guys holding the camera to film it!

The point is: this is the best possible opponent that we could have chosen for the first round. We should CRUSH this Caps team. We are well-rested and healthy. We have a GREAT coaching staff to help us prepare. If we struggle, then we clearly are not a Cup-worthy winning team anyway.

Get the brooms out! I don't see many circumstances where this series even goes 5 games!

LETS GO RANGERS!

I think we’re so focused on what ovie does wrong in it and we forget how good a play by Stepan that was. To leave for the other guy so he can open for a pass was pretty smart. If he takes the puck he probably loses it by a goalie poke check

No overarching point here for #NYR or WSH or really any team, just wanted to see the relationship between Goaltending results (via GSAx at All Sits) and Standings Points % this season.

If Oettinger finds any of the form from last season (been better lately), watch out for DAL.

With those high standards comes pressure that can snowball quickly, which is exactly what happened last year around this time. It's become a subject he prefers to steer clear of, but make no mistake: He knows better than anyone that the Blueshirts will have a hard time ending their 30-year championship drought if he can't overcome those frustrations.

"I feel pressure for the team," he said. "I feel it for the Rangers. We have to win the Stanley Cup. That’s not just my personal pressure."

Except Lav wont sit on his hands, and with a coy smirk tell everyone that everything is ok after losing a 2-0 series lead.

Im wondering if Lav is gonna keep Chytil in his back pocket for the playoffs. Keep him practicing. Its a lot to ask of a guy who hasnt played a single game since Nov 2nd to jump into a playoff environment.

Could see how the series is going. If we go up 2-0 3-1 etc maybe get him a game and see how he looks/feels

You ok?

Hopefully he shuts up the doubters. I’m not sure he’s ever played with better linemates here which should make a difference

Love it! Not the part about filming you and Salma, the hockey part.
