My fam in AZ told me the problem with the area is that it is oversaturated with sports. NFL, NBA, MLB, U of A (multiple sports), ASU (multiple sports), PGA events, Cactus League baseball, etc..,

All options have more roots in the region and have more accessible facilities and more locals play those sports
