I’m gonna sound like grinder here but he needed to just wack that sucker in and hope for the best rather than finesse it
- Victoro311

Nah, just rewatched that play. There were 4 players there along the boards. No way to wack it in. Only options were what he did and to just take it back out of the zone.

The good news is that the Wings are a bad team and can 100% (frank) this up.

The bad news is that Larkin is a good hockey player and will probably carry them across the finish line

I’ve been drinking all day so very possible I didn’t see it well but (frank) did he have a disaster game

Man…EK had a bit of a drought a couple weeks ago but at least he wasn’t noticeably this bad. These games have been so close, if Karlsson was at least a ppg player this year, Pens are in a playoff spot. He hasn’t come close to his cap hit. Might as well trade him and get Goetisbhere for half the price who will do exactly the same thing, put up points and be bad defensively

Definitely a terrible game for EK ... and our goalies. No idea why they didn't put Jarry back in a few games ago to get Ned some rest.

Yeah I totally get not putting in a cold goalie against a team like Boston but we played a few soft teams while we were scorching hot. You gotta put in your $5 mil goalie in at least one or two of those games and just trust your commitment

Well, just have to regroup and try and get a W against Smashville on Monday. Hopefully whoever is in net can stop a few pucks.

Gotta be Jars. Ned, God bless him, is gassed.

Whelp... The good news is only 2 games remaining of the Jeff Carter era. Fingers crossed on Riley Smith too. That dude did nothing but come up small for this team all season.
- madmike71

Smith is an empty suit. As you’ve said, he brings next to nothing to the table. He has no compete level, intensity, or anything of much really. Never seen a professional play an entire season without showing a single second of interest.

Wake me when Dubby cleans house and exits sully and staff.

Yeah you know a guy sucks when Grinder starts begging for the coaches to put him on the first line

No. He’s “fit in nicely”. He’s had a disaster of a season.

Pens win out, wings get 3 of 4 points, isles lose both in reg, caps lose to bruins in reg!
Pens and wings in playoffs

Karlsson and Jarry for Chychrun and korpisalo

I would have rather had Graves playing over Karlsson tonight… that was embarrassing

It's been one helluva run. All that's left to do is bring out the sports cliche's.

Ya gotta believe.

It ain't over 'til it's over.

Well... It seems my month long reverse jinxing has run its course.... So...with that said....

They're making it in, in the 8th seed. It ain't over until it's over, is right. Some moving parts to this but it doesn't mean all the parts will move the wrong way for the Pens.
