Doesn’t really matter but I feel like the last couple of games during this push the energy of the Penguins’ broadcast crew has really risen to the situation. Best product we’ve put out in a while.

In all fairness when this season started several of us were happy for ek because at least the games would be 6-5 vs 2-1 and would be exciting.

They showed Sullivan on the bench as they imploded. Dude was just standing there with a blank expression. He's the most comfortable coach in the NHL. It's gross.

This game was a microcosm of the season for me. Poor defensive plays by Letang and EK, leading to goals against and then both having some great plays offensively to compensate. It can be rather maddening to watch.

Pens back on the drivers seat. Islanders with a big win which leaves even less room for error.

Also interesting that the red wings, caps, and flyers all finish their season on Tuesday. Pens/Islanders are on Wednesday.
