I saw him play twice in the 5 Nations Tournament, he is not afraid of the rough stuff and he will clear the net. But mostly stuff I have read. He's a Gym rat and plays a Tough Defensive D game.

I disagree. The roster was a tire fire. What we have now vs then, I guarantee they don't have an issue finding what Kevyn stated he wanted.

I'm telling you, he's a lot of things, but he's not a hypocrite. He painstakingly follows through, even when it takes years.

Sure.
But that isn't the issue.
The issue is two-fold:
1- he can't close to save his life. Think of all the targets he has chased who said no.. players and coaches.
2- He and Pegula are looked as a joke around the league as the leadership of a franchise. This shouldn't be overlooked, and is very difficult to overcome. Buffalo is on a lot of lists of where NOT to play or coach.

It is why their list has been absolute poop.
Regier, Botts, Housley, Disco Dan all are not putting a good word out there.. and neither are A number of players over the last several years.

The reputation of the franchise is far worse that you believe... IMO of course.

The GM may need to approve, which is normal.. but largely the Coach selects his staff...
And certainly any experienced coach is going to demand it since his success is on the line.

What that player's should hold accountability as much as the Coach. Yes and that will never change IMO. I am a nothing but I sure hold myself accountable for Me and my actions, don't need a Life coach to do it for Me. Guys are the best of the best, they should know what accountability is already.
