I think you were stuffed in lockers as a kid

I’m not sure if you understand team sports

You want 4th liners to will the team to victory? lol. Wow. Just wow.

Let’s trade powers while we’re at it …. Let’s trade for reeves.

Let’s keep letting you be gm

Okpsos and Erik Johnson were basically mentors like Craig anderson.

- Sabretooth9

I don't understand team sports, that's gold. Okposo was the F@cking Captain. And yes yes they were supposed to be Mentors, they were supposed to Teach them what it takes to WIN and they failed. Okposo and Girgensons have failed that since they became part of the Leadership group. Johnson was a overpaid bum that a Stanley Cup Contender didn't even choose to keep as a Veteran Reserve. And I would never trade for Reeves, but I would trade Power in the right Deal. And a Jr's GM could have Finished this Team better than what Adams has done as GM and gotten us to the playoffs, especially the last Couple years. Certainly wouldn't have been stupid enough to spend 9mill on a Okposo Girgensons Johnson to bring Mentorship.
Funny how a Goalie saved our Season from being a total Sh!t Show and you Call him out for any little thing. But Adams can't do No wrong with his crappy roster building. You sure you ever played More than "Chutes and Ladders"

How do you know he's tough?

Making an assumption based on his size, or you've seen him play or read about him?

I saw him play twice in the 5 Nations Tournament, he is not afraid of the rough stuff and he will clear the net. But mostly stuff I have read. He's a Gym rat and plays a Tough Defensive D game.

So a big Gas Line in Calgary blew up Yesterday and a Military Production Facility in Scranton, PA that produces 155mm Howitzer Shells went up in Flames and could be closed for months. Bridges being taken out, Railroad cars derailing, Food Manufacturing Facilities starting on Fire, Cow Farms having to destroy whole hurds because of disease. SH!t ain't Right! Need to wake up.

Glad Adams moved on from Donnie... He took the team as far as he could... He left the team better than he found it... Just not nearly good enough.

Also happy to hear that he has placed a requirement on NHL coaching experience with good pedigree. Let's hope that he provides some requirements for the Asst staff... Like a suitable replacement at HC in a couple years.

In the past I wanted a coach that I could see leading the team for the longer term ( > 3 years) ... I feel differently now. Find the Coach to take this team to the next level... Win a few rounds in the PO's is the priority for this new ciach. The next Coach can then take the team to the promised land. Just get to the next level is the priority...great if he can deliver to the promised land too. Eat an elephant one bite at a time.

There are several Coaches that meet that criteria. For me, I like Gallant's history of significant improvement in years one and two. He'd be my choice.

Adams needs to go and Do it know, It can't be just words. He can't come back and say we tried and had Conversations with some very experienced Coaches, but we just couldn't make it Work. Well Adams do your job and MAKE it work, he can't step back to the Podium and announce Appert as the next HC.

Meanwhile, Briben Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas are virtually escorting Illegal Alien invaders into the country with their sponsored flights from countries loaded with them right here into the USA, and their open boarder policy. Then they claim they don't have the power to fix the problems and blame Republicans.
Yet HR2 sits on Shumer's desk waiting to be taken up by the Senate... While today we will watch Shumer deep six the Impeachment Trial of said Mayorkas... All the while again blaming Republicans.

It he meantime, Briben Biden will not take Action via Executive Order because it will admit the Donald J Trump was right when he nearly eliminated the invasion. We simply can't have that, nope. Instead let's watch more horrific events unfold as a direct result of their incompetence.

Joe is a freaking joke .. how anybody could consider "running it back for four more years" by re-electing him is ludicrous.

I think it's nice to not only hope for a long term coach, but for that to also become a reality. I think for well established teams, like the Rangers, Lightning, Hurricanes, Stars, Panthers... it's more of a reality to find that guy for the life cycle of your team. These teams and more has the same standard year in and year out.

Teams like the Sabres.. Sens.. Sharks Hawks or even old teams like the Pens... their needs are probably going to be evolving because they're in, or going to be in flux. Ted Nolan and Don Granato were the right coaches for the stages this team was in. But now it's time to hopefully find that final coach that elevates us into the Hurricanes category. With the talent and age that exists on this roster, there isn't a reason they shouldn't be there.

Berube - couldn't gain any consistency with the Blues after the Cinderella run for half a season.

Ruff - couldn't get the skill heavy roster in NJ to balance out their play

Gallant - success every where he goes then something happens behind the scenes and he gets the boot.

Boudreau - a fatter version of Donny

If the accepted approach now is coaches need to come in waves to improve this team every few years, Gallant is the guy out of that list.

He won't do that. Adams is typically quite honest.

I'll eat my shoe if he hires a guy like Appert, Peca et al

Quenneville it is. He is desperate to get back into the game, will take less $ and be open to accepting a role in a risky organization.
