What a disappointing season for them considering their expectations.

No way they sit Matthews if he has a shot at 70
- Canada Cup

Who cares.
Its about the playoffs.
They rested marner when he was on the cusp of 100pts, now it get 70 goals is much much different than 100pts. But it should be about team success and ensuring Matthews is fully rested and healthy for the playoffs.
But i know they wont sit him.

Utah is actually a beautiful state.

It's paradise if you like outdoor sports. Lakes, desert, mountains all within an hour drive.

The Mormon thing is probably a little overstated too. I've got some friends that spend some time there in the winters and they say the beer/food culture is great. Life/housing is cheap and the lifestyle is great. Vegas, Denver, LA not too far away.

You just have to expect a knock at the door every few months by some teenagers in white shirts ..."have you heard about Jesus". Just buy a big dog and security camera and you'll never have an issue.

I think sitting a player to "rest" them is largely bs. I think if Marner said, "hey, I'd like to see if I can get to 100pts" you let him.

As if taking 1 game off at the end of the season is magically going to reset his power bar to full energy.

I was kiddin' but there are some firmly established urban tales about Orangeville being a haven for swingers.

I think that just makes them dig deeper. A colleague up here in Toronto made the mistake of offering a pair a drink of water on a hot sweaty day. They came back every week for the next two summers and did his gardens and front lawn. He tried to stop them but they said no way ...we need to do 'service'. Apparently they were pretty cool ...gave up talking religion and just talked about basketball all the time.

(frank) ...I'm re-doing my front yard this spring. I may have to let them in next time too.

Can confirm - spent a week in Park City in February. It snowed Champagne powder for 5 straight days.

I spoke with some locals - apparently everything changed for the 2002 Olympics - they loosened up all of the laws.

There's still a few crazy ones left (you can't walk around in a bar holding a drink, you can't buy a double), but they are more weird than annoying.

A lot of people I spoke to (locals and visitors) complained that you had to buy all wine and liquor at a government-run store. Oddly enough, I didn't find that all that upsetting.

game against florida could be for home ice

i guess we'll know by then, just seeing that florida has a pretty soft 2 games coming up

- TheMussel

Leafs are in charge of their own destiny.

Win their last 4 games and they finish ahead of Florida.

Pro tip for cutting things short with unwanted religious door-knockers : tell them you are Jewish. It stops Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses dead in their tracks. They don't have a scripted routine for that scenario. They just reduce it to quick pleasantries and then leave to find easier pickings.

Pro-tup: I don't think I would want to reveal that I might be Jewish at this particular moment in time. Things are a bit crazy out there.

Answer the door with a dangling cigarette, coffee in one hand, a beer in the other and a big ol' strap on dildo around your waste.

"Come on in fellas!"

Zezel says it works when the school kids are out getting Unicef donations.
