It's weird the anti-abortion crowd is also anti-social services. Most who seek abortions usually do it because they cannot afford to have a child. If you make them have the kids, well guess what those families will need? - mr.peanut
i refer to them as the "pull yourself up by your bootstraps crowd".

Interesting.
I find he is more frank / honest about stuff than other GMs in the past. Does not sugar coat much, calls it like it is, yet still excited about the improvements / development of players and team.

no guarantee of success but he is transparent.
Big summer ahead for HuGo...key moves need to be done. Let's see what they do in the off season before making any projections for next season, too many variables.
He is basically saying they will push for the playoffs but fully realistic they most likely won't qualify next season, they want to be in the race though. They expect to end up just outside without luck...meaning a pick in the 10th to 16th place next season.

I think this is the most important off-season for the Habs in the HuGo years, will determine how long the rebuild lasts.
Lots of assets over the next 3 drafts, some contracts coming off the books over the next few seasons, need to make key decisions on youth of roster - who stays and who goes.
Will be interesting to watch.
As exciting to see it all happen, kinda sad that the off-season is more exciting than the NHL season right now....

All part of rebuilding a team, it takes times, there are many gradual steps, fans have to be patient. That's why it's always at least 5yrs before the on ice product shows clear improvements, kids have to grow up, learn and become difference makers. You see that in their mid 20's usually.

Your clothing will be drenched in that poop smell...
Will be fun when you go out for lunch...you will be a sceptic tank with shoes on!

At least it has been fun / interesting watching the management side of the team, so much more going on than with an established team where they might have 1 or 2 significant changes (unless in cap chaos) in a given year.
