I was thinking of going but after the game the city traffic there is crazy. Five thousand farmers driving their tractors from the arena.

Oh dude

Bhatia was the leader starting the day and shot 4 under.

Denny got 8 straight birdies on the back 9 and forced a playoff

Dennys then put his 3 shot of the playoff in the water but Bhatia had to get medical aid and get his shoulder taped. Bhatia ended up winning it was insane

Looks like Likker just scored.

Looks like they are giving it to Steven but the overhead looked like Likker deflected it.

I don't see where their D corps suffers if they take a look at Mynio.

Seen him once this year, the coach sure gave him the green light to attack he looked like a forward.

I'm really enjoying this Dallas Avs game, I'd love to see this match-up in the second round.

Nice, he was more defensive and stay at home last season. He definitely got faster this year. Put up at least 2 points pretty much every time they played the Royals. Lots to like about this kid.

Hell of a game, i expect a wild 3rd. Both teams look primed for a run to me. Two very deep teams.

I had a good laugh last night. A buddy and I were partaking after dinner and we started talking Canucks and playoffs, he said he hopes the Canucks come out in the playoffs like they did at the start of the season, with the same win loss record, so I said lets go take a look, pulled up their schedule, so we win the 1st rd 4-2, win the 2nd rd 4-1. we win the 3rd rd 4-1 and lose the finals 2-4.

My buddy says "that's so fucking like the Canucks"

Have been trying to find this the past couple days and finally did... basically how teams end the season has so real impact on their play in the playoffs.

Late-season momentum doesn’t matter as much as you think — Inevitably, some team will make the playoffs after going 7-1-2 down the stretch, and we’ll be reminded of that constantly as they gear up for the first round. But study and study have shown that a team’s record down the stretch doesn’t mean much in terms of predicting playoff success, especially when you control for the fact that good teams are more likely to finish well than mediocre ones. It’s true in hockey, it’s true in other sports, and it’s annoying because it wrecks a fun narrative, but late-season momentum really doesn’t matter.

I don't believe it is a matter of wins and losses at this point, it is more about how the team is playing and how or if the coaching staff is making adjustments.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, the team has not been very good and the coaching hasn't made adjustments
I know some of the posters on here don't like to hear this but I will use Pouty and Hughes as examples, Pouty has been very average the past 20-30 games, maybe longer, teams have started bouncing him around a lot more, so what does coach Tocchet do, adds noted physical presence players Hoglander and Boeser, then makes a stupid comment that he has added 60 goals to his wing.
In Hughes case, who is having a very nice season, when he is off his game, like he was last game when he was the cause of the final 2 goals, you have to wonder why he wasn't sat down, like any other player on this team.
Both these players have been overplayed, and teams have been catching up to them which is a part of why the team hasn't looked so good lately.

Edit, thanks for posting the links,
