You can post it a thousand times. It still won't be true or accurate of my position. By all means, continue.

Especially when give the time and space that the Flyers gave them. Not impossible to save but not bad goals either. The only bad goal was the 4th one.
- MJL

The first goal was bad too

You can deny a thousand times it won’t make it true or accurate. It ABSOLUTELY was YOUR position during debates at the time. And now you have to live with it. You wanted him. You got him. 6 more years bud

What separates the good from average goalies is you need to come up with a save on the tough shots. He looked beyond silly on the 1st.

You're wrong. I never said Couturier should be absolutely re-signed. Nor did I say that I wanted him re-signed to build around him. That's the reality. Feel free to prove otherwise. End of story. Post it all you want. I don't care.

Almost embarrassing if they get in with almost losing out.

This team is crap without a healthy Couturier. We saw it all last season, and again this season since Couturier missed those games in January with an undisclosed injury and then started to really struggle. Torts isn’t coach of the year in 23-24 anymore than he was in 22-23. The major difference was they got 40ish games of Couturier playing at a high level.

Ya sometimes guys forget that…it’s not only the soft/bad ones that hurt. When guys get beat clean like a couple of those it still hurts. He wasn’t sharp last night. But it’s an awful lot to put on a guy that quickly. All w can do is hope he can do a better job then Ersson….not a very high bar of late.

Second time you posted that. It's still the same answer and you still don't know what a no brainer is. Keep trying PT.

If I could go back into old threads I would. Just to put it in his face. His use of ABSOLUTELY back then regarding coots and his insistence oh him being a 1c and resigning him and building around him is why I use ABSOLUTELY now lol. You and I debated him like mad.

He knows. He’s just an ass.

6 more years for him

It is his opinion that signing Couts is a no-brainer but it is not his opinion that Flyers must sign Couts.

You got that? 😂

if they do miss the playoffs where will the blame be placed?

- 4th rd pick for Johnson is panning out well. another asset wasted. just an average roster that doesn't look like will add any real improvements next season. barring a huge trade or overpayment in free agency. Cant see any top 6 center wanting any parts of this circus with torts as HC. Amazing danny boy and "jonesy" cant see this.

-They now clearly have a whole in goal; unless San turns it around fast. What do they do their heading into the summer?

-Reinhart has more PP than the flyers team I believe. Will he be a target.....

- wonder what MM really thinks of this schit show. Clearly he can see not much to work with.

No brainer is not a difficult concept to understand but it seems as though for you, it is. All that implies is that it was an easy decision to make. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm on record, numerous times, stating that anyone who thought that the Flyers should trade Couturier was not wrong and that had merit. So it can't possibly be ABSOLUTELY. My reasoning was also not to build around Couturier. It was to support the rebuild, to protect players. It's in the public record and there isn't anything you or the other guy can do to change that. Keep on trying all you want. I have addressed this numerous times. There is no need for further clarification.

Yep we were probably the 2 leaders on trading coots for assets back then. But surely we’re both mistaken on who the leader of the resign coots club was

After months of back and forth debates lol

Nope jackass that wasn’t your position.

You DID say those that had the opinion to trade coots held merit. Yes you ABSOLUTELY did say this back then

But you did NOT agree that’s what flyers should do. You instead INSISTED (it’s a no brainer) that they resign him.

Either way (frank)head you wanted him. You got him. 6 more years bud

It's not semantics. It is sheer stupidity. It is as stark a contradiction as you can find.

But that is not anything particularly unusual. Everybody contradicts themselves, everybody makes mistakes, especially in a casual board like this.

What sets the guy apart is that he will, approaching the age of 60, find it important enough to endlessly debate the indefensible behind an anonymous facade, hour after hour, day after day, instead of just saying aw shucks...

That is what makes one worry

Y’all do realize he’s not responsible for the Flyers signing Coots, right?
