It’s not impressive cause a guy making 1/3rd of Matthews salary is trending towards 60 goals.
Plus this version of NHL is extremely tipped towards offence. Can’t quote numbers but there was a wild amount of players playing at a PPG last year. Back in 2010 there was maybe 15 guys at or around that pace - compared to now it’s insanity.
Can’t respect a guy getting a lot of goals when there’s another dude doing the same thing Matthews has/is doing at almost 1/3rd the cost - amazing value and Hyman earns his goals too. Probably more motivated this year because of the terrorist attacks on Israel back in October. Who knows.

Always be anti-Florida.

It's rarely a bad thing.

Oh it’s only cause Tkachuk is out tonight and they’re up against The Habs that it is somewhat allowable in my head lol

That was a Luis Rivera level of wave from the 3B coach.

probably safe if the "throw" did not allow the catcher to block the plate

Hate the Habs, but they might do us a favour tonight. 3 - 2 Habs late in the second. If the Habs beat them in regulation, we have a chance to catch them for home ice. Of course, we need to be able to beat them in game 81 on the road to have a chance.

- only 9 players in NHL history have done what he’s done. Go look up the names of those players.
- So it’s not impressive because Hyman has 50+? Good season for Hyman. I hope you don’t think salaries are based year to year. Meaning - Hyman scored 50+ so Oil need to redo salary and give him 12 sheets.
- The league is tipped towards offence cause 15 guys are PPG? How many of those guys are scoring 60+ twice in a career? That is the Sam as saying 99 took advantage of bad tenders and lack of defensive systems of 80’s…where was everyone else getting 92 goals and 200 points then? Flawed logic bud.
- Your repeat point towards end of post (see above). But add that Hyman stands at the side of net or in crease with stick on ice and Jesus hits him or he seats in a rebound. Don’t get me wrong they don’t ask how just how many and he goes to a rough area and I completely respect that, but their cookies are much different bud.
- I can’t even begin to address the full goof of your last remark.

Oh I know, and I’m watching the game and Florida needs to show back up in the third, they seemed gone in the 2nd.

It’s just one of those games that I can be content with no matter what the outcome is I guess lol

Go Habs Go.

Ugh. I feel dirty.

I'm also happy to see Washington losing. I can't believe they are in a playoff position. Every time I've seen them this year they look terrible.

Yeah, makes you feel like you've been in a brothel at 4AM after 11 Rum and Coke's and the smell of stale cigarette smoke.

I think losing Spencer Carbery was probably the worse loss after Dubas left. He was really good coaching the Leafs powerplay and he's the reason that Washington is possibly getting into the playoffs. He's done a very good job with a team on the downside of their careers.

Islanders tied with Chicago in the 3rd.

If it goes to OT, the Islanders can no longer catch us in the standings.

It's what you get when you have a manager that doesn't coach his young players properly. I'm guessing that Don Mattingly will be manager by Canada Day.

Nick Cousins doing his thing. A shot after the whistle. Then it's a game of flag football after that. At least the Habs are punking them in this game, outhitting Florida and taking care of business. Damn, I hate having to say that! I can see the playoffs being an all out war with the Panthers. I guess Ryan Reaves will be busy when the puck drops. This Habs/Panthers game is almost ready to explode!!

This is traditional Paul Maurice coaching. Nothing but penalties and dirty play and then female dog about the unfairness of it all.
