If the the pucks that reached the line tonight got into the net the game would be bloody well tied

I really like Timmins' play. Yes, he's made some boneheaded plays, but he's missed a lot of time and he's finding his groove. Lots of positives.

McCabe flinched, thought he was LD.

Knies left him all alone though. Not a great look. Getting carried away.

I’m waiting for the Desjardins commercial where Colby Armstrong gets a bunch of teenage boys to do a celly for Miss McGill.

You know what drives me nuts? A team has a 5-1 lead and the other team does nothing but commit infractions - trips, holds, hooks - and nothing is called anymore because they are losing. The winning team can be guaranteed to draw a penalty or more for the most inconsequential of things.

This entire thing is designed to hand all momentum to the losing team.

So when they ask - why are leads so hard to hold in the NHL these days? That's why. Because game management effectively fixes the game.

I am not sure some days if I will be a hockey fan my whole life or not. Some days it's just so hard to watch this product.

Wonder what the GMs say about the game management in their meetings... never seems to come up after.
