Best Leaf ever?
Papi. For. The. Win. - Big23Questions
Nope.
Not until he accomplishes something or dominates in the playoffs. When it counts.
For now, he's the best reg season scoring leaf.
But hes simply not the best ever until leads this team to some deep runs |

I thought I saw a headline saying they could clinch tonight but maybe it was about this week. - Aaron_85
they needed TB to win and the Flyer vs. Islanders not go into OT.
Both did not happen |

He has to start bodying guys at opportune times. Ovi opened a lot of eyes (and a lot of space) once he started trucking guys. And it's not like he does it often, but every once in a while, you're just reminded how thick this dude is. I think he rocked McCabe the last game. |

Missed the games last night. Mixed results for my Blue and White.
Blue and White North got the job done and spanked the nasty Cats.
I am rooting hard for Matthews to get 66 goals (or more) because (frank) Ovi and the Craps.
Detroit swept the season series against Blue and White South. That hasn't happened since like forever or some poop. Detroit wanted it more and I'd rather see them take WC2 over the Craps or Isles.
The Art Ross is going down to the wire. I'm thinking McJesus is gonna steal that female dog out from under Mac and Duch. What a gotdamm shame he is wasted on the Oilers who are banking on Stuart (frank)ing Skinner. |

It's bizarre because all those years that Ray Bourque was the best defenseman in the world in Boston, he was just a useless POS because they never won anything - and he only gained redemption by winning a cup thanks to Patrick Roy.
It's a team game. I'd like more pure 5 on 5 dominance from Matthews in the playoffs, but he is definitely not the reason this team isn't getting it done.

Hey Florida man Galatic Stoner
When do you make the “things in your mirror may be closer than they appear” meme thingy for the Leafs catching the Florida wussy - cats?
3 points back with a game at hand & getting Moe, Marner and Eddy Munster back can’t be viewed as anything other than positives…… - Cush29
Yeah, the Lightning are struggling to keep pace. I doubt they catch up now. I think Detroit kicked that square in the nuts.
Leafs did a great job beating the Panthers. I have no love for them, Florida or not.

I’ve watched the Leafs for over 50yrs. Seen lots of great players. Saw Sittlers 10 point night, Gilmour and Clark were amazing and amazing always……always showed up and always gave absolutely everything they had. Matt’s Sundin was pretty dominant and nobody messed with him……saw Salming play for years……..great man…..and yet, you have an agrument that Matthew’s is the best. The most talent of that bunch but probably not near the top for heart, although he is improving in that regard. |

I honestly don't know if Wendel and Dougie showed up and gave everything they had in that series against LA. It was more like they got bent over. |

Ray took them to a cup final and the 3rd round multiple times.
Didnt say matthews has to win a cup, just take the leafs deep.
So a horrible comparison. Jesus |
