I think the logic is that they would rather play in markets like TB and Vegas, where it's warm and there isn't as much pressure.

but I think that's overblown, there's been some decent UFAs that played for the habs in recent history, and there will be others in a not-so-distant future, that doesn't really worry me all that much.
