E Johnson sucked, real coaching staff sends him to the gulag 20 games in.

Clifton was just fine in his role.

Coach decided to bench Ryan Johnson.

Took a season ending injury to Samuelsson to finally break up the Dahlin-Samuelsson and Power-Joker pairs that never worked.

Acquired Byram and after three games he got neutered and spent the majority of the season on a pair with Joker that never worked.

Good thing the coach ignores the analytics

Yup. Granato has been absolutely pathetic.

Add in overplaying Okposo
Garbage PP he said that he took over

List goes on on on

George Carlin was an obedient worker

He wasn’t funny

And he wasn’t smart

You’re just a retard

You calling me, of all people, an “obedient worker” is just the proof I need that you really aren’t trolling.

But I am going to stop acknowledging you again.

There’s a reason we call you guys “Canucks”

Canadian + Cuck = Canuck. The ultimate cuck. The beta male of a beta country that’s “independence” is as old as I am.

Maybe some day soon I will tell the story about how I recently robbed a bank and bought a car with the money, something an obedient worker certainly isn’t capable of. It’s actually a pretty wild story, and I did it completely within the limits of the law. I am actually really quite proud of myself.

No no no…. It’ll be different this time!

Seth, Tim Kennedy and Blugger!

That’s efficient, economic and effective right there , the trifecta come to life!

I can’t WAIT for next season….

Adams shot his wad on another offensively minded LD on a team full of offensively minded LD. For our sake, I hope it works out

What metaphor?

I got distracted by the non-US treasury combined with the satanists making pop music to trick kids into killing babies so that the hedge funds can make YouTube biographies of how buzz aldrin invented LSD to make Ronald Reagan’s’ chimp gay to spare Caitlin Clarke from getting an abortion. Or was that Caitlin Jenner? Go Sabers!

I think Byram has been held back by joker. Joker has sucked for about a month now.

The funny part is. If you go back at posts in January and February. I thought Joker was playing great

All depends on usage.

I can see a Samuelsson-Byram pairing potentially working.

Byram-Dahlin had good moments with bad.

Byram is a lot like Montour. In the right scenario it works, in the wrong scenario, it’s not pretty.

Yoy acquire a player like Byram if you want to get back to being a rush based team that lets there d-man activate like they did last season.

Time will tell

Only took Clifton what, half a season to not look horrendous on the ice?

No time wasted there.

They love Samuelsson despite his play and durability lacking.

If they have a $7M+ 3rd pair next season, is that really a good cap expenditure?

The bold is a mighty big if re: their organizational strategy heading into the offseason and next season.

I don't trust them to make the right call, at all.

I actually like what Adams has done and think Granato / Matt Ellis are the major problems.

Granato:

Routinely played okposo too much
Played Erik Johnson over Ryan Johnson
The PP by Granato / Ellis has been pathetic
Greenway place on the top 2 lines
Greenway on the PP
Granantos line combinations are pathetic
Team 85-90% of games come out flat

Tage cozens tuch all sucking

The list of bad coaching goes on and on

Adams is living of off Botts, half this Team is still player's brought in by Botts. Other than drafting almost every player that Adams has signed or acquired has SUCKED. Fabulous he might be a good at Drafting but JJP is the only one doing anything. Granato has been horrible with some bad decisions but he plays the players he's given. This is a failure from starting at the GM and as they say " Sh!t Rolls Down Hill"

Wow! Every other NHL Team has played atleast 14 playoff games since the last time the Sabres made the playoffs. What a Horribly Run Franchise.

Looking back now,

When Botts got fired, Terry hired Adams to be his front man with the intention of speeding up the rebuild. When that failed miserably, Terry decided to go back to Botts route of a slow rebuild that focused on a strong prospect pool.

5 years later, the Sabres are back to where Botts had the team....but with less high end talent on the roster.

We’ve been on a 5-year cycle for 15 years now, and from the very beginning, he wanted to start from the bottom and he’s tried it three times now.

The way this team lost, in such consistent fashion this season significantly outweighs any individual growth. Losing becomes easier to accept as the losing continues, whatever talent these players have with their feet and hands, they lack in physicality and brains.

Hope with no change led to a full organizational regression last summer...what's no hope with no change going to do this off season?

Terry blew it up in 2013

Kim f*cked it up in 2017 under GMTM (ATW - Peters said ROR and Kim got into a pissing match on the plane, with ROR telling her to F off)

Terry used covid as an excuse to gut Bott's plan and install a shill as a GM so he could take over in 2020

Terry has no one else to blame this time and he won't fire his pet Adams...the only solution will be for Terry to step away, how many billionaires put their ego aside? The future looks bleak in Sabreland.

Right around the time they stopped the E Johnson- Clifton pairing ?

I would assume Dahlin, Power, Byram, Samuelsson are in the top 4 next year. Hopefully they get the pairings right.

They do have 20 forwards on ELC’s that they can help mitigate the short term over comportment of cap on the backend to be fair

Clifton is a 3rd pairing defenseman that the team gave term and a $3M AAV to in hopes he'd be a 2nd pairing player.

Overpaying a bottom of the roster spot, again.

They're going to play Samuelsson in the top 4.

Will it finally work, for more then 50 or so games?

With Granato back, I can see him putting Samuelsson on the top pair again.

That hasn't worked yet.

Is putting all your eggs in the Power - Dahlin basket the wisest move with the impact it has on the 2nd pair?

Aside from the top 2 and maybe Byram, the defense needs an overhaul.

They need to bring in a proper top 4 RHD, and ideally trade one or both of Jokiharju and Clifton.

Let the bottom pair be Samuelsson and Ryan Johnson.

Maybe that'll help Mattias play more then 50 games.

Clifton was overpaid 3rd pair D that they hoped could be more than he ever was. Both of Adams big D signings were horrible mistakes. Adams might be a decent drafter, but he is horrible at building a roster that compliments each other.
