The game moves really fast. I get it. It’s not for everyone. |

Didn’t realize Sid was knocking on the door of a 40 goal season. The pretty crazy stuff considering the season. What a special player |

8 games left, Sid should reach all of these:
* 3 more assists to reach 1000 for his career
* 3 more goals to reach 40 on the year
* 7 more points to pass Esposito for 10th all time |

64 games. 13 points. Too fast for big Jeff....that's for sure. 3.125 million retirement party. Good for him. Probably sent a nice case of wine over to Hextall. |

Satisfying game to watch for a few reasons. |
|
|
|
It's scary this team is only 3 points from a playoff spot. If we hold a lead in the last few games, we are likely right there with Detroit.
Crosby is carrying this team. If, and its still a big if, but if he carries us to the playoffs, that has to be one of his more remarkable achievements from an overall team perspective. |

They're 5 points out now. They have 8 games left but 4 of those are vs Devils, Wings, Caps and Islanders.. That's all the teams battling for last spot haha |

5 points back, likely would need to win out to have a chance, that'd be a 9-game win streak, which just isn't going to happen. |

Ah you guys are right. Was looking at Detroit instead of Philadelphia/Washington |

Not with the whole team having the scoots it’s not. |
|
|

They were just in the zone so long...doing geat things to lead to that goal.... For it to be called back for offside after that long of zone time just seems wrong. I mean that for the whole league, every team, not just Pens. There should be a certain amount of time that it can't be reviewed for offsides or some sh!t
As I'm writing this the goal is allowed, figured it would take longer. However, the sentiment remains... It's fvcking wack haha - MattStrat
Offsides should only be called when scored off the rush or off the rebound off the rush. |

Screw this. We need to draft in the top 10 this year. |

Going from DOC who gives it his all to Smith who doesn’t give a shït is a choice. - Thorny87
Apparently DOC was also pretty sick but played so they moved him to the third line to cut his ice time.
From DK's site:
Sullivan says Sam Poulin didn’t play because he was loaned to Wilkes-Barre. Sounded like it wasn’t his call. Given the illnesses going around, might be done to free up cap space for a recall at another position. I noted this in the game feed, but Poulin coming off the ice with the game group at the morning skate and Emil Bemstrom staying out late seemed to indicate that the plan was to scratch Bemstrom again and play Poulin. Roster management stuff apparently dictated otherwise.
Possibly setting up recalling a goalie to cover for Jarry? |

Sick, or not, they can't seem to deal with the Devils very well the past several seasons, anyway. So, I suspect a L on the horizon tonight haha |

It’s been 87 and 77 all season really. I really think Carter should take Malkins A at this point. All the tough unappreciated stuff he does that fans of lesser hockey knowledge cant appreciate, but the lockeroom sure does. |

Poulin blows. Gruden abd Bemstrom can at least skate at an NHL level. What’s the obsession with Poulin around here? |
