That goalie interference challenge was the worst of his career. It wasn't even close.
- madmike71

That's just another reason not to be upset at the officiating. I don't have any issues with the decision to challenge. When you get asked about after the game. and you know you will get asked, deflect the question. Sullivan should be more upset about how his team played than about that call. Sullivan needs to take a lesson from Crosby and Rust, they both took responsibility for allowing a goal nine seconds after taking a two-goal lead,

Sullivan just needs to go. It’s so over due.

Jfresh gave me a stroke this morning when he tweeted the Penguins had resigned Carter to a new deal.

Way too early for that.

Would you sign him for league minimum? I don't think a vet like that is a terrible thing if he can buried but he'd have to understand he may not be an every day player anymore.

The problem is if he's on the roster Sully is playing him...every game...and then there's the another year older thing. No thanks.

He’s done. Like Matt says, can’t trust Sullivan to bench him.

No. I saw one game with Carter out and a bunch of young guys playing and the fourth line gave them energy that they hadn't all year. Next game Carter was back in, Puljujarvi was on his off-side (after his best game) and Gruden was gone and the line was crap again. Just remove him already.

Hard to believe that happened, but it did. Was this was a cap related issue? Gruden was up on Emergency Loan. Was he sent down because Carter was healthy? That was the best our 4th line looked all season.

I agree. Carter is no fourth liner. He needs Mcaan Freddy type players to play with.

Emergency loan though I'm not sure how they are getting around Bennstrom. Carter was ready so Poulin or Gruden had to get sent down. (Or Puustinen but he's safe right now.)

Edit- actual cap mattered too to get Shea up, but don't think they could have kept all three on the roster regardless with Carter returning.

Think I would have kept Gruden up.
