Scott was supposed to be the better goalie from the start, but he had too many injury problems. Since the Leafs couldn’t accept defeat in that draft, they had to cling to the hope that Woll would pan out.

Ah that’s right eh! I forgot about Scott - he was absolutely a promising talent coming up. Woll was supposed to be a good back up kinda talent. Which is awesome for the Leafs that he is working out in that sense. He can tend in the nhl but just not land the big job you know

Surgeries are far from 100% effective. Not all of them anyways. Bilateral hip surgery is a replacement hip so he may never even be what he once was even with a full recovery. Average for what he went through is roughly 80% successful after 5 years of recovery time.

What has Martin Jones done to get this much disrespect from fans?

He basically saved their season.

He has a .908 SV %.

He has lots of playoff experience, posting really good numbers.

As far as I’m concerned, he should be the backup going into the playoffs.
