I think you might have a severe case of what was known as TDS, currently known as BDS.

I mean this has to be the worst fan base in the history of sports, I joined the page maybe a month ago hoping to talk hockey with some true Rangers fans. The amount of unrealistic ridiculous posts in here saying “this team is washed” “this team can’t beat good teams” “this team will get bounced in the 1st round” “Igor sucks”…..they have lost 5 games in 2 months, FIVE GAMES IN 2 MONTHS. Anyone who really knows hockey and is a TRUE fan I’ll catch you else where because this isn’t the page. Y’all suck, start giving credit where credit is due

Most fans are irrational. They expect perfection from professional athletes day in and day out and forget these guys are human beings. Not everything is going to come together perfectly. There will be hiccups throughout an 82 game season. But if you can take a birds eye view of everything, you will have the opportunity to really appreciate what this team has done. Five losses in two months needs to be acknowledged just as their 2 month stretch of mediocre hockey was.

I really just think everybody needs to be on a one for all and all for one kind of attitude the next few months

there will be losses in the playoffs and they are painful, we don't need Ranger "fans" trying to make them feel even worse when they happen, but again, we have ass holes around here

As good as they were earlier. I think they are playing even better now. That mid season slump is something all good teams have. Boston just had theirs in April last year. Carolina was in the toilet early, Vegas even. Edmonton couldn't get out of their own way. Vancouver is just getting out of theirs, Florida is in a funk now and I think we broke Winnipeg bc they haven't won since beating the NYR.

There are some people on twitter who I swear don't pay attention and only tweet when they're not paying well and disappear when they win. And if you didn't know any better and just went off those tweets you'd swear they were a bottom feeder.

When they play poorly, fine, be critical but show up when they turn it around and like last night, acknowledge the guts these guys play with bc that area is not lacking

I will call out positive poop when i see it, same as negative poop. I dont think it makes me a bad fan to say, Panarin, Laf, Quick, and a bunch of other players have had an amazing year and there seems to be great team chemistry. On the flip side Igor has not been himself (factual) Zib has not been good even strength(factual), and those are 2 guys we really need imo to make a good run in the playoffs. Call me crazy but that seems pretty rational.

That's why TDS, now BDS is. Tom Derangement Syndrome/Blacksheep Derangement Syndrome, Because just a mere few comments ago I praised Laviolette for not being a dope like the two people in his position before him. And also Igor, which was met with pushback, but you seemed to miss all of that. Very unhealthy James.

100%. They sucked last night for the first 35 mins. That needs to be said, but when they fired it up, they showed how competitive and how they really don't stop fighting.

Bit of ying and yang with him and Kreider. (Kreider has to be dealing with something physical. Looks complete off right now.)

Yup, one thing i wont question is team chemistry and their desire to not quit and mail it in.

I also need to see Panarin get 50 goals.

Has to be. He don't look right. I hope he gets some rest before the playoffs especially if Lav knows something is bothering him

22 points in last 10 games to break Jagr's Ranger record

seems extremely tough but the way he's been playing, with all these home games in April who knows
