He’s got the city behind him, and the hockey world watching, but linsanity was another level. The guy came out of absolutely nowhere and dominated. The fact that he was taiwanese American also made it more sensational. Rempe is just this big lovable (for us) goofball that makes things go boom.

Trying to label Scanlin as anything after his NHL debut is stupid. Very few undrafted players would be unaffected by the moment and should be given a grace period to acclimate themselves.

this should have been Quicks game to start.... he will become the winningest US born goalie and it should occur on home ice. But now its's looking like he will do it on the road

Oh yeah, he had an awful game. His boneheaded plays directly caused two goals for Philly. We had an offensive zone shift for >2 mins and he take a shot from the goal line in the corner and absolutely airmails it. You have to be smarter than that
