I believe the Sabres have yet to win three games in a row this season. (If they have it’s only once.) Has any other team been this consistently bad this year, or ever? For any of them to complain about the fans is an insult to us. When they miss the playoffs yet again, we know what the company line will be. And we know they won’t do anything about it…

Any catch the Nathan MacKinnon story of ATW?

-only chickpea protein pasta for team meals
-no pop, only water at team meals
-no ice cream unless it’s the offseason
-puck must be passed onto his stick in practice and he won’t move his blade to catch an inaccurate pass
-no alcohol during season (for him)

If you don’t like it, see ya!

Now some of this crap is insane, but who the f on this poopteam would have the balls to step up and do anything like this?

We have no obvious to the public leader

Dahlin as C? Seems like doing it because someone has to be our “best” player and then they should be C like Eichel. How did that work out?

And by best, I mean when Upper Deck makes Tim Horton hockey cards and are forced to have players from each team, these are the guys they pick.

Cozens, the “workhorse?” Anyone ever see any of his vaunted work? Or is that nickname just a Pierre macGuire made up thing?

Tuch, grew up a fan and a little older. But does he have the nuts to grab the ring? To keep our loveable losers to a high standard of excellence?

I’m all ears.

You just listed a bunch of off-ice and practice things. Stuff we don't see. Every story I've heard has Dahlin as their hardest worker in practice and the guy who tries to set the standard.

They have twice, but never 4. They've also avoided any long losing streaks. They just don't streak at all.

At least they made the scouting director happy. That's more important than the pick.

MacKinnon is a notorious redass and a giant drag, but no debate that is what the team needs.

It's the truth re: Dahlin.

I've seen it in multiple pregame sessions over an hour before the game begins.

It only seen two players who are as animalistic with their pregame workouts as Dahlin is, and that's Krebs and Cozens.

Appeasing Forton with a pick like that still infuriates me.

If militant but it's also hard to argue with the championship pedigree. That being said I wouldn't enjoy that much.

Part of the reason he needs to be a part of the team moving forward.
I don’t think he’s ever been utilized correctly. Why is he not on the Pk?
He’s fast, scrappy, in good shape conditioning wise?
He’s not going to be a 20 goal scorer, so let’s get him solidified as a utility player

Krebs might be the 2nd best in terms of conditioning next to Dahlin, but Dahlin has no peers.

He's on a different planet in terms of fitness.

His AHL eligibility begins next year so I’d imagine that’s where he would be given he’s signed his ELC.

I think the date to play in playoffs past though didn't it? He can play in the regular season only I'd imagine, but not sure.

Everyone stop what they're doing and leave work.

Granato just confirmed.

Jack is back in tonight.

Rejoice!

They need a greybeard captain to come in this offseason and kick this team in the ass (won't happen)
- Hank Balling

IMO a greybeard coach who makes it hard for this core would also work

Ugh, Greenway is so much more than a 4th liner and Benson should have stayed in jr.

Per the optional skate, looks like meatballs still insists on watering down the lines

Granato says Quinn is in. Rousek will be out a couple of days. Optional skate today. Here were yesterday's #Sabres lines:
Greenway-Thompson-Tuch
Peterka-Cozens-Quinn
Skinner-Krebs-Benson
Robinson-Girgensons-Olofsson

Greenway is absolutely a 4th liner. You’ve been blinded by the lack of talent and depth on this team for years.
Greenway on any competitive, playoff bound team is a 4th liner.
The sooner the management accepts this, the sooner we can move on with constructing a real team
