good god you're reply here is absent of any content or intelligence. You're free to show how I'm wrong. I have a feeling that isn't something I need to be concerned about.

Frost has been hurt but Tortorella and would be further along as a player if not for Tortorella's mistreatment. He hurt York last year by sending him down, not based on his play, but based on his personality. Tortorella all but confirmed that in a recent podcast. He has hurt Cates by jerking him around. All Tippett and Foerster needed like most players, is consistent playing time. Tortorella is not consistent with that. He has hurt Brink and Zamula by jerking them in and out of the lineup. Tortorella is not good with young player development.

That is a false statement as York was not hurt.

Frost may or may not be further along. Speculation on your part.

Denver Barkey recorded his 100 point last night. 14th player in London Knights history to do that…..looking like a steal from the last draft.

How can you say that York was sent down due to personality reasons and not poor play? This is completely inaccurate on your part cause even the player himself admitted to not playing well enough last preseason. And now he is turning into a very reliable defender that can contribute some offense too. Frost is now excelling since he went into Torts' office and told him to puck off. You just hate Torts and will keep beating that dead horse until he is no longer employed by the Flyers.

But win what? Games? A cup?

It does matter. Seems like you and most of the twitter fans are just happy to win some games and have a chance at the playoffs without there being any real chance to win a championship.

I am a LOT older than you and I am tired of this. I've sat through enough seasons of this team having no idea how to build a winner. Under Clarke and Holmgren they were always trying to win last years cup. Under Hextall and Fletcher they couldn't decide whether to go all in or rebuild so they did neither.

Same thing now with this regime. They say they are rebuilding but it is the same half in half out BS that has gone on for the last 25 years. Trading one player who has been here half a season on an expiring contract is not a rebuild.

It sickens me how fans are watching this team and buying all Torts' bullpoop about standard and culture and playing the "Philly" way. I guess the Philly way is to be a declining cesspool whose best days are far in the past and continues to shrink into irrelevance because all the talented people are leaving. That is what Philadelphia is now.

Its same old same old.

Where is your evidence to show that I'm being inaccurate? York played well enough to make the team. He had a solid 30 game showing the season before but we're supposed to put more on a handful of pre-season games? There is no doubt that the reason why York was sent down was because Tortorella wanted him sent down due to his personality and not liking how he reacted to Tortorella insulting York, his words not mine and how he didn't react the way he wanted him too. Tortorella has been and continues to make roster and player decisions not just based on play but on personality and how a player handles conflict and interaction with the coach. On how a player perceives his own level of play. This is part the Couturier situation. It is wrong and unprofessional.

Your frequent statements that it's about hating Tortorella is not intelligent

Did he trade Walker? Did he extend Seeler? His opinion is obviously valued more than most coaches but people made a fuss about him being at odds with a group of players that left in the off season, Provy and Hayes, good riddance. He’s not drafting players, that’s where this team gets better. His influence means nothing on draft day.

His being at odds with those players, and his treatment of them, lowered the value of said players and cost the Flyers. That is my issue with how the talent was moved last summer.

They got a pretty good return with Provy if you ask me and Hayes was never gonna fetch that much in return with that bloated contract.

Hayes would've fetched more than a 6th round pick plus the Flyers retaining 50%. Think about how bad that is. Tortorella caused that.

Hayes was coming off an AllStar appearance in 2023, and was on track for career numbers before Torts "coached" him, made him untradeable, and we had to pay almost $16m in cap space to trade him for a low draft pick. Horrendous asset management.
