Yeah, it's true. It's just been like three'ish straight years of it so I had kind of forgetten...many moons ago it wasn't this way.

Grinder mentioned Pens don't have desperation in their play and I agree. I think you can play and try hard but still not play with desperatation. I will never forget like ten years ago a buddy of mine who's a huge Habs fan, very knowledgeable hockey guy, really good player on the ice called me during a Pens game just to say his mind was blown that he had just watched Geno drop to the ice to block a shot without hesitation in a regular season game the Pens were up 4-0 in the 3rd period of hahaha.. Been a long time since we've seen stuff like that...
