New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe has been suspended four games by the NHL for elbowing New Jersey Devils defenceman Jonas Siegenthaler:

Him and Ostlund come over and mother (frank)ing dominate.

Who cracks the Sabres regular lineup first, Ostlund, Kulich, Rosen, or Savoie? Ostlund might be darkhorse now, especially if KA fails to bring in a 3C.

Kulich - One goal in his last 18 or so games
Rosen - What is he at the NHL level? Bottom 6 fuller
Savoie - Despite his prodigious production this season in Juniors, his overall game may not be progressing, and what he's doing in Junior would not necessarily translate to the NHL, per our Junior's watcher Quinnfan

Rosen could end up being the best of the 3 and that's pretty wild.

Still think Kulich is playing hurt and he'll pan out to be a good one...but if I had to put money on one I'd say Rosen actually. He's better than people give him credit for, think he could work with Krebs on that 3rd line. But his game is a lot more polished than Kulich or Savoie IMO. Ostlund is going to need some AHL time.

We know Kulich was hurt and missed time, so no question there. Never saw the video, but Appert called it a cheap shot. One of the downsides of the AHL.

Wild card in the question is they are still with the Sabres. I don't think there's a huge difference between the AHL and SHL as development leagues. Could see him leapfrogging a bit + he's a true C.

I think it’s Savoie tbh.

His speed is sorely needed in the middle 6, and the fact that he is a Right handed shot also helps.

Don't think the 3C is on the Roster yet.

Would anyone be shocked if he fails to land the top 5 C's he's targeting and ends up with the Clifton of C's? Worse, telling us they feel comfortable with Fabric28 at C again?

Adams or Granato seem to hate Kulich. No clue why he isn’t getting NHL looks.

And no I could care less if he’s coming back from injury.

At this point, they aren't going to burn a year off his ELC. In a wasted year, wish they had him up for half the season.

Having Olofsson around wasting space all year sucked.

What do you mean burn a year? He played 1 NHL game.

You are telling me he hasn’t started his ELC yet?

First year of his ELC will slide again if he doesn't play 10 NHL games.
