Just saw Okposo get traded. He’s a guy I always forget about until we’re playing the Sabres because he’s been a shell of his NYI days for like a decade now

I feel totally fine. I'm at peace with the Penguins for the most part. They've given us a lot the past few decades. Changes were inevitable as the season progressed. I dont like losing Jake but it was pretty much a given for weeks so its not a shock.

IIRC he was actually pretty good at standing up for guys all year. Then he lost that fight to Wilson and they tossed him.

Me too, my one buddy is upset. I'm like dude we're the same age as Sid, we've literally watched awesome teams all the way through our 20's and half our 30's. Being 21 with their first SC run in 2008 was amazing.

I havent been there since I was a kid. Its our capital city and where our government Parliament buildings are, which is a tourist attraction for some but I couldnt give a flying F about that. I always wanted to skate the Rideau Canal, that looks so f'n awesome but obviously wont be frozen in July haha. Sorry I couldn't have been of much help with this. Its generally known as a very clean and friendly city.

I thought that had Sully's fingerprints all over it. Rutherford wanted that kind of player and Sully hates that kind of player. I can't see JR dumping him for one lost fight. Had to be Sully who wanted him gone. F Sully.

Definitely. Look where Ian Cole is now (VAN). That tells you all you need to know about why we dumped him ... and presumably other players like him.
