I've been to a lot of Griffins game this season. Edvinsson is a lock to make the team. He gets a ton of ice time and he really stands out. He's the best defensive prospect I've seen in GR in over a decade. He pretty much does it all for GR.

Tuomisto and Albert Johansson are both good defensive prospects. They're both 23 but they are not even close to the caliber defensemant that Edvinsson is. I do like Tuomisto's size (6'5"). These guys are part of the reason GR is having their best season in years. Wings have a logjam of good defensive prospects... we'll see how they pan out.

Mazur has really picked up his game... I can definitely see him in Detroit in the next couple years. Same thing with Kasper... he's putting up points alot more now. He had a bit of slow start, but now he's really playing well.

That's good to hear.
SY needs to get off his UFA veterans spiel and start giving his own prospects a fair chance.
I am afraid he already lost Burgers with his antics, but I am not sure I trust the rumor that he declined an extension yet, cause no one reported it as fact.

I can only post this so far:

The 4th period who was cited didn’t disclose what the offer was, but it doesn’t seem like dollars is the issue. Again, things can always change but the team hasn’t seemed keen to use him on the main roster.

Only player out there I'm still intriged by is Pavel Buchnevich. He's only 25. He's not a center or defenseman... but Yzerman has done really well with trades involving St. Louis blues and their GM Armstrong. My fear is the asking price would be pretty high. Probably not worth parting with a first round pick though IMO (which it would probably require to get the deal done).

Buch can play all forward positions, but in the NHL he has been used on the wings.

thehockeywriters is a garbage site posting crazy stuff, going back years.
4th period is from Dec 10th, and they usually don't know anything either

Exactly! The Hockey Writers wrote in this article that they would have conditional draft picks on if a Guentzel signs. The NHL banned such conditional picks about 3 years ago!!!!!
