look at these guys wishing they were bell's

i have had multiple beers from boreale and nothing has suggested they are capable of making anything drinkable let alone good.

based on what i've had i think the only pooptier brewery from quebec is la barberie

just found out recently boreale is malt beer which explains the joel embiiding my toilet sustains after drinking 4-5 of them

What I’ve read is that they’re doing it to stay competitive with the big brewers. I don’t think they’re (frank)ing with each others beer, but it will give them more capital to make new beers and distribute to new places.

Boreale is bi-polar. All the classic beers are awful.
Then they created an IPA and for 1 year or 2 it was the best bang for your buck for an IPA.
Then the IPA started to be awful and never got good anymore.

But all their special beers are very very good. The North East IPA especially.

i don't have a proper review yet. i was drinking them with food and stuff. i felt mildly disappointed but i have to get this tall, dark, handsome mother(frank)er alone and then i'll be able to give a better rating.

and yes, they refer to it as carton of milk.

the saison was better than the ipa. i think we're at the point where "good" ipas dont cut it anymore. there are way too many excellent ones
