The solution is increased ticket prices and for the team to win enough to get several games of PO Revenue when the sharing model changes and they pull in significantly more.

That seems much more reasonable to me.

AZ probably has til the end of this season to show the league a plan for a new arena.
They’re going to be the team in Salt Lake if they don’t get an arena plan rolling soon.

I don’t see the Sabres moving after (if) pegs sells them. Any new owner would see a Hockey mad market that would throw buckets full of money at a competitive team, just do it right.
Pegs has turned the Sabres into the old Panthers, while growing nothing but apathy amongst his team’s fan base.

If Okposo was a real leader, he’d have already told Meatballs that he and Girgs should be getting sheltered heavy d-zone minutes, 0 PP time, possible kill time (think he’d be ok/better with reduced 5v5 time), and benched if a one goal deficit late in the third. Let the kids learn to become better pros by failing a couple times and also succeeding a couple of times, instead of watching KO and Girgs fail repeatedly. But he’s not a true leader, he’s just a nice guy that won’t get too upset at the guys.

Read somewhere the Sabres do pretty well with there board displays advertisements.

-They still have great interest in the Sabres. I can personally assure you of that.

They are incompetent and are much more hesitant to spend money than they used to be. Their own bad decisions, bad hirings/contracts plus lockdowns brought them to this point. Their staff and arena management has been atrocious. These things are objectively true.

That game last night was so frustrating. He kept them in it, but Oettinger was just a maniac. Petey, Cozens and Dahlin were all over the place, I couldn't believe they couldn't pot one off those chances.
