You pivot more than Granato trying to explain his confidence in the team and what that confidence is based on.

The Lions have a good coach. The Sabres, do not.

If you think a decade plus of suck, or missing the playoffs for their entire Sabres career to date compared to the Panthers having been a President's Trophy winner the prior year doesn't make a difference mentally, then I know you have little clue into the mind of a pro athlete.

Hell, even the mind of an amateur athelete.

- kingcong39

Talk about a pivot.

We went from a team with a fragile loser mentality to now “well they have a good coach”.

There is absolutely nothing that suggests prior seasons have any relevance to current seasons success.

The Minnesota Wild had made the playoffs how many years in a row now ? How’s that working out for them this season ? Shouldn’t they have a good culture and mental toughness

Social degradation, bad diet, aversion to knowledge, bad genes that get passed on because Catholics think bringing an unwanted child conceived from a bottle of whiskey is better than a morning after pill or aborting an egg yolk that they are just fine with eating for breakfast every day, from Tim Hortons, with their double double and singular chocolate glazed timbit (just like the men you dream about in your brazen stupor).

Wrap him in bubble wrap and staple his ass to the press box, even if it means Bryson plays 3rd pair minutes.

They cannot risk him getting some kind of season ending injury.

>>> Erik Johnson returned to the lineup but was injured again blocking a shot.

- kingcong39

At least he blocked the shot instead of totally screening UPL like Greenway did on Dallas' first goal. Not on UPL.

FYI, there are NO UNTOUCHABLE players on this team, just untradeable. Blow this shiite right the f@ck up! Burn it to the ground and start over.

I think instead of a dumb prospect list, you should give us all inside information on which options to drop our life savings into right before it moons.

You could use your favorite draft projection site and get #1 with those picks.

I think you've got a good point with the volume that we're in the upper tier, but drafting well is what is putting us top3 across the board. Also, lucking into Levi as a throw in didn't hurt, getting RyJo to sign helped a lot...there were other things besides drafting that helped get us to the top of the under 23 rankings.

So the rumor mill is heating up. Looks like the Pegula's are likely to sell the Sabres. Probably explains why were the only underachieving team this year not to get a new coach. Looks like ownership can't be bothered at this point. It's also looking like a chance they leave Buffalo.

While I know this is a rumor is definitely stirs my emotions. So many thoughts.

One one hand "Thank god", make the suffering end. I went to the game last night(my 2nd of the year, only went both time because my kids got a free ticket voucher). We all know the arena is a steaming pile but it's so much more than that. There is no vibe in the air. It's dead, it's over. We're like a corpse of a franchise just being dragged through a schedule going through the motions. It so pathetic how the blow the goal horn when they come out of the tunnel for warmups and to start each period. Like are you afraid it's going to seize from lack of use? And they just BLAST music at us through the PA like it's going to somehow do something. That game was over in 4 minutes like they usually are. Why am I having music just blasted at me at jet engine levels? I left halfway through the second.

On the other hand it's like "No, this can't be". The realization that Buffalo is not a profitable NHL market. Seems insane, but that's how it is now. It's just sad that one day it turned into "One before I die" to "It'll never happen".

Then of course anger at the Pegula's. Outside of their magical 2 month run to the playoffs in 2011, I've hated everything they've done. I've been a huge critic of theirs. They did just about everything wrong along the way and it's been infuriating. All that pomp and circumstance, ego stroking BS only to set the NHL record for longest playoff drought in NHL history and have the longest drought in North American Pro Sports and generally be one of the biggest embarrassments in the history of the league. Would the team be profitable had they not been such buffoons? Probably.

That being said overall this is just sad. At this point I wouldn't go back to a game with free tickets and free drinks. There's is just zero reason to trapped in that building for hockey. I feel like last night was my last Sabres game ever. Sad.

Would trade the last 10 years of having a Top 10 Prospect Pool for a few playoff runs. Only way having a good prospect pool means anything is if your GM uses it properly. And obviously we haven't

Only reason it died is because Pegula Killed it. They would pack that place even if it looked like he was trying to Win! I think he sells, but know way they move the Team.

I'll believe it when I see it tbh. Pegula knows he'd be a marked man the day that team moves. Think he wants to be booed every time he goes to a Bills game, is at an event or a restaurant? He'd have to sell both or at least ensure the Sabres stayed.

These guys tow the company line I’ll tell you that. Razor, Duff, Dunleavy and Marty. What a joke they are
- SABRES 89

I can't stomach their show. I can't listen to it after a win or a loss. The amount of critical thinking is so minimal. They struggle using the word "bad". "Struggling" is almost crossing the line for them when discussing things like the power play.

Sometimes Marty will rail on the PP and Duffer basically says ya i know lez not talk bout it, but Marty did you have any good food you wanna talk about instead of how bad this team is?

I understand their jobs, and I understand who pays them. It doesn't make it less gross.

That's why ATW is worth so much more. They make a lot of good points, and sometimes some bad points. But at least they're honest, transparent and tell it like it is.

Heard his plan is to use the Sabres to pay the Overages on the Stadium. Waiting as long as he can to get a Number and then sell and still Profit. He will walk away from the Sabres with a Brand New Football Stadium and it won't cost him a Dime and 500 mill in profit.

1. This rumor is denied every single year. Tim Graham is relentless on this rumor and can never find a crack in the Pegula's intentions to keep the team.
2. Galisano built a clause into the seller's contract that the team was not allowed to be moved by the buyer.
3. Bettman loves this franchise.

Sabres are lame (frank)ing dog poop, but so is this "rumor".
