If I recall, you asked when he earned that contract...my point is he did last season (by far) and he isn't this year.

I don't know if that's it or a lack of motivation because they see guys like Girgs, Okposo and others returning.

I'd worry a lot more about putting together a good roster than bringing in "leaders". As an example, Eric Johnson is one of the worst FA signings we've made since Leino. He was supposed to be a great veteran leader...how's that turning out?

I'd rather we sign guys who play well, I could give two poops if they're silent otherwise.
