In times like these, teams must turn to their leaders to forge a plan that will help them climb out of this hole they dug for themselves. Captain Kyle Okposo believes he has the answer to these issues, even if it will take a collective effort for this team to do two things: Spend less time talking, and more time doing.

This is Great!
Theyom seem to be on a roller coaster year by year for how much the are out of it.
This year was "average" ( did not do the mathu, just eye test).
We should expect to be out of a PO spot by say 3-6 pts next season!!

I still think Sammy has some value, probably needs to play 75+ games next year to regain some value.

Okposo may surprise you at the deadline

- Boss34

He only needs to do something he's never done or even come close to doing so far, with a play style that screams constantly injured.

Doesn't seem likely.

I don’t think Power would get you Gauthier straight up. Just my personal take.
- Cory1

The above is nuts.

We all know you hate Power as a player, but how many more players need to be traded to other teams from the Sabres and end up playing great on the other teams, before realizing it's due to the garbage dump atmosphere revolving around the Sabres franchise that is the reason for subpar performances?

It goes well with the decade plus of foul odor around the organization, to trade players at their lowest value, get minimal back, and have the traded player take off with a real organization.

I think they should trade every good player, Dahlin, Power, Tage and Cozens, so every fan saying all those players suck can see the truth of what is the cause of the suck.

Well if Top 5 doesn't start getting whatever he is doing together. He's gonna be trading those players, who wants to waste there prime years for a Organization to finally decide its time to Win.

There is little incentive to desire to play in Buffalo.

Having to play for an utterly and completely inept organization is at the very top of the list of reasons to avoid Buffalo.

Unfortunately Agree! Can only change the culture so much when you continue to bring back the losing(Girgensons Okposo). Adams needs to realize part of changing the culture is Winning Hockey and Good Leadership.

Yes- it’s true.. I’m not a fan of Owen Power. What I am less a fan of is our rink manager turned GM handing out long term contracts at grossly inflated salaries. I’ve said from day one the Power should be signed to a bridge contract until he proves he’s worthy of what he is currently getting. Some - like yourself will say he would cost more in 2-3 years from now. I say nonsense. Same with the Thompson contract, Cozens contract, Samuelsson contract, Dahlin contract…Adams signed all these guys to deals they never deserved. Show me one recently signed contract that looks like a bargain or even break even… you’ll be looking for a while
