You act like it is DeBrincat or bust just because others have repeated him. There are other options of good NHL players with different skill sets that would help maximize Buffalo’s roster. They have done none of that in the thought of not blocking prospects that they won’t play because of terrible signings. Management has failed to surround a solid core with decent enough role players where if the big guns have an off night, maybe the Sabres can sneak out a win. They are the Maple Leafs lite without the postseason. Until that changes, rinse repeat.

Throw Krebs a bone. With Quinn out, put him in the top 6. Let's see what he can do with good players, not scrubs. The Sabres are totally miscasting him. He's an undersized playmaker with some speed being asked to play a 4th line "heavy" role with scrubs. They have to figure out what they have with him and see if he is part of the future or not. They are completely wasting him. Plus, if we plays well, they can use him as part of a bigger trade in the summer to a team that can use his skillset in the top 9.

Also, under no scenario should Slokposo be on line 1. Put him on line 4 with Girgs and Robinson and give them 12 minutes a night.

Benson has the closest skill set to Quinn in terms of full 200 foot play without having to breakup Greenway-Mitts-Tuch.

Hate Okposo on line 1, but Skinner and Tage get paid big bucks to drive play and those other two lines are solid and I can see why they don’t want to split them up.
