Sabres winger Jack Quinn underwent surgery today on the lower-body injury that he suffered Saturday in San Jose, sources told The Buffalo News.

He's expected to be out for approximately 8 weeks. All the details are available here ⬇️:

It’s a brutal development for Quinn, who missed the first 32 games of the season because of a ruptured Achilles tendon in the same leg. The latest injury isn't related to the Achilles, sources confirmed, and there wasn't damage to his knee, either. An eight-week timeline means Quinn won't be back until late March at the soonest. The Sabres' regular season ends April 15 with a game at Tampa Bay.

if you trade for the guy, you are 2 years ahead vs drafting one in 2024 draft

and it should be win now mode

- homiedclown

No, you are not listening, draft selections depreciate worse than cars.

A 6th OA like him, with 1-1/2 years of development invested, well is worth maybe a 3rd.
Bryson and Olofsson should do it! There is no appreciation for what development he has had to improve his readiness.

Perfect time to put Kulich at LW with Cozens and JJ

You mean showcase VO.

Donnie isn't going to trust a kid and KA needs to pretend they are still in this.

What would Tim Stutlze cost?
Is he playing at a $8.35m contract so far?
Would Ottawa consider moving their big dog based on a pretty disappointing, now 4th season with him?

Boy needs to build serious muscle, and continue to work on his skating...only way he is going to survive the league.

Yes it is but get prepared for one of Olofsson, Jost, Biro or Rousek to fill that position. Meathead won't want to put a rookie in a top 6 role. Adams won't want to burn a year of either Rosen or Kulich's entry level deals.

Ottawa to pass us and Columbus might too. 27th or 28th, here we come.

You'd hope in this front office summit, they'd accept where they are at and focus on development. Levi starts in Roch the rest of the season. Kulich + Rosen come up for the rest of the season. Johnson plays every night. Nail LOG to the bench and give Benson + Krebs more room to run. Try some of the kids on PP1.

I expect to see absolutely none of that.

It's extra hilarious when they told us in November that they didn't want to keep him up in a bottom 6 role.

Me neither.
I do expect to see alot more of Girgensons and Okposo when healthy, lol.
I would like to see them use Krebs on PP1 in the Right FO Circle area...see if he can use his passing skills to run the PP. Also, put JJP in the bumper spot.
Give it 10 games, see what they got.
