He went to spin at the exact time Hertl goes to throw a check... its bad luck. Hertl, in his head has already made the decision to hit him and Quinn has already made the decision to spin. Spinning near the boards is never ideal, but its a hockey play. Sh!t happens. Terrible luck for the kid hope its better than it looked.

“I see guys from the same draft, like Simon Nemec [in New Jersey] and [Kevin] Korchinski [in Chicago] … they get a chance on the power play. They play a ton of minutes in the NHL. Those are different teams, so different situations, but I can compare with them. I just want a chance to play like that.”

No I don't agree. You said he spun at the initiation. He already had done a 180 by the time Hertl made contact. So that is false. Doesnt mean Hertl didnt already have in his head to play the body. These things happen in the milliseconds.

I have No problem with Kevyn making a Call, he would be a very good fit. Columbus has a bunch of C prospects so we are probably looking at Kulich going the other way.
