I can’t believe we’re at the point where you’re advocate for the franchise to move and hope we get an expansion team?

That would be devastating imo

No Guarantee we would get another crack, considering the team would move only if they had few attending fans ……

More or less than 5 wins?
- washedup20

I know where you're going and could be right for sure.

Helly is on one of the better teams while Buffalo is near the bottom.
I think `5+ wins more is relatively easy to assume.

seattle and vegas has done more in a few short years than pegula with the sabres in 13 years and it's not close

move the team, start over as an expansion with different owners, gm and coaches
sign me up

this sh!tshow sucks we have right now

the core is not likable
the coach is not likable
the gm sits in the corner with the ball instead of using it

I think if Adams went out and got Helly, this entire season would be different, he would've been able to sign Dahlin to less, and let Power play out.

Bringing stability to the net would've gotten this group to the playoffs, it's more than obvious.

All it would have done though is reveal what not getting stability in net has shown. This is a soft, rely on talent alone team up front with limited passion for the game.

Boss, it is very different for me.
I'm not in Buffalo any longer, so it impacts me in no way. I couldn't care less. My brother was a season ticket holder for 50 years and gave them up..he's glad he isn't dishing out money to go watch that poop show of 13 years anymore. Still watches games he wants, but no monetary investment anymore.

Lastly, Buffalo would be better off with an expansion team with the way the new rules are. That said, it wouldn't last long because at $1B entry fee, the Club would be a huge money loser on a yearly basis.

Im torn actually on this that's how pissed off at ownership and management I am.. if they move I would still watch this team (provided they actually hire a real GM and head coach). Im sure if that happens they will win a cup in the first couple years they leave, because that how it works esp for Buffalo.

It would put a bandaid on a deep wound...make the PO only to get brutalized by all the short comings you mentioned.

The Goaltending isn't the overwhelming problem, UPL's number bear it out.
Fix the GD Defense and the System are far more important to me

Why would the nhl allow buffalo to have a team after they lost a team due to lack of attendance?

That doesn’t make sense to me

The product is terrible and the home fan experience is brutal . I’ve sold almost half of the remaining games , to avoid going at this point……

Still a fun night out with family and friends , but the game is very secondary

the NHL isn't stupid they see why the fans aren't going... nobody thinks buffalo is not a great hockey market. but dude 13 years of suck the number are going to well, SUCK, and they rightfully should. we. have an owner that doesn't give a rats ass about this team.... until that is resolved nothing changes.

They'd never get an expansion team without a plan for a new arena, which isn't happening any time soon.

Not a good arena situation atm.

Right?

And then magically, everyone is going to return to the arena and support an expansion team?

If the Sabres leave , there will be no new franchise anytime soon

Wish for what you want, crazy thought wanting this franchise gone lol

I get it.
I wouldn't pay a red cent for Seasons, but I had them myself for several years (4). I just don't enjoy the experience like I used to. I've turned down many a ticket for the Bolts too.

There's always going to be concerns about his consistency, until he sustains it a bit longer. He played well last season, then fell off a cliff. His best is better this year, but he also threw in a dud. How he finishes this season is significant.

2 years from UFA. Is there any scenario where you don't bridge him? Any world where you have faith in Levi and sell high on UPL? Conversely, any chance you'd move Levi?

UPL did get sick at beginning of Decmeber. Lost like 10 pounds in a week and came right back. Could tell he was off. He's been solid for the most part this year.

I went to Tuesdays game, sat in 101, row 13. 2 things stuck out right away. The god dang music is pumped in so loud it actually was hurting my ears. I suppose they do that because ya know like 10K ppl were there.

2nd, the hype girl they have is absolutely awful.

Lastly, the product on the ice is just, well unwatchable. I had a feeling they would regress from last year with scoring but holy hell, they look like the tank teams.
