Then why no actual improvements? I mean, I thought Clifton would be better, but it isn't like they brought anything of serious quality in. How can they say they wanted to win, but also bring back Girgs, Okposo, Olo, Jost, Bryson, sign EJ...something doesn't add up.

I said it countless times before, 3 Goalies, maybe they would add a new D man, were not going to add to the forward group and had plans on Kane being here. That has all come to life, been saying it since the middle of last year.

The PP is terrible, teams can figure it out and know what they will do like clock work. Tage 1 timer, Olo same corner, pas, pass, pass. How Ellis still has a job is beyond me.

“If you are off at all, it is gonna get shoved down your throat really hard and that’s exactly what happened tonight,” captain Kyle Okposo said.

Jost and Olofsson are extras

Dahlin - Samuelsson

Jordan Greenway is practicing again. Nearing a return from an upper-body injury.

Skinner and Greenway in their normal spots. Someone's gotta go in 24 hours. I couldn't care less who hits waivers, but it's hilarious that Kevyn needs to do it instead of trading Comrie.

I like how we get lit up for 9 goals by the 29th ranked team and yet Ryan Johnson still can't get into our Top 6. That's some Tier 1 coaching going on.

the players should just be doing wind sprints the entire practice for the next week, at least then they would have an excuse for playing like pussies

There's going to come a day when Roswell says maybe they should just stay home because they're kind of bumming people out

Maybe Ty Dunne should write a scathing article about Adams, or Granato, or Both.

I hear ya and remember, just think that's the gameplan of a team in a holding pattern, not one that's actively trying to win.

Don't let the franchise's headline-generating class of rising young stars convince otherwise.

Buffalo was reforged through strategy, embracing fundamentals and a return to the basic principle of walk before you run -- or more aptly, lose (copiously) before you can win.

Yet, there was no scorched-Earth scenario. Rather, it was a pack of Sabres' veterans -- namely Kyle Okposo, Zemgus Girgensons, Jeff Skinner and Craig Anderson -- quietly nurturing the club's foundation with seeds waiting to bloom.

"Our veterans have gotten that room to the point where today, right now, the players know they should go out each night and know they're capable of winning. It's much different than before," head coach Don Granato told ESPN in September.

Getting the Quinn/Peterka duo back together is smart.

But what does he see with Joker/Power pairing? Why is RyJo not playing again? This is just getting silly. Wasn't Joker/Power our worst pairing since they've been put together again?
